I read this in two sittings. Great beginning: The Silver Angel, a trick horse rider in a circus show, lassoes a cowboy in the audience and gives him a "show" kiss. But that kiss ignites sparks.... and then a fire that can't be put out.
However these two have so much going on they hardly have time to think about kissing, let alone falling in love. She's been living a lie and wants to start living her truth, openly and freely. It especially bothers her when he takes her for something she's not. It's a struggle, but she finally comes clean with him about everything. It doesn't help that she has a violent ex-husband chasing after her.
You'd think that would be the happy ever after, but no. Because he's got a couple deep, dark, secrets too. Will the glowing embers of their love for each other get doused when she finds out he is not at all what he seems?
