I love the fact that the book is an easy and enjoyable read, it feels very conversational and isn't overly dry or academic. There are plenty of illustrations, diagrams, and examples within the book demonstrating the techniques used, exercises, and even "homework" at the end of each chapter to help you put into practice what you learned.
It's an excellent resource for anyone looking to grow their knowledge of how to weave a story from the cards and how to extract every little last drop of pertinent information from the cards in a spread - this will take your readings from "Good" to "Wow!" with clients. She also has a really interesting and useful Yes/No spread in the book that involves six cards, yet is very simple and easy to utilize.
There are chapters with games and exercises, information on interacting with your querent, and even the "language" of Tarot and how best to convey information to your querent.
Though there is an appendix of basic card meanings in the book, I wouldn't say this book is for complete and total Tarot beginners - I think to get the most out of it you need at least a basic grasp of the meanings of the cards. If you have at least that aspect of Tarot under your belt, I do think this book could help you increase your skill by leaps and bounds at a pretty quick pace.
Highly recommended!
Seasoned readers will benefit from this as a way to expand their skills at giving readings. What I often see are people that give readings by simply repeating what the cards mean and not really giving a complete reading in terms of how the cards relate to each other, how the positions may effect the meaning, or how to put it all together to tell a story. This book is going to help you bridge that gap. She also discusses getting stuck in a rut of using the cards as psychological tools and not paying attention to predictive messages that are coming across.
Beginners will appreciate the advice on reading for others, creating your own spreads, and advice on issues you may face when reading for yourself. There are lots of mediation, journal prompts, and tarot experiments in this book that will help you memorize card meanings and connect on a more personal level. She also discusses how tarot can be used with other magical practices and includes prompts to get you started.
The author's writing flows, she speaks with authority but also has a personal approach that makes you feel like she is teaching you in a real life setting. Don't forget to try the tarot games at the end of the book.
My favorite parts of the book are the spreads (there's some new stuff that I've never seen in a book before) and the "tarot experiments".
She's got a great chapter that discusses tarot and language that is really going to deepen my skills once I work through it.
I own about 10 tarot books and I think the author did a fantastic job at examining other aspects of reading the cards and creating useful/inspirational homework and activities for the reader.

It is revolutionizing my relationship to the tarot itself, to my clients and even in my own person relation to the archetypes.
It is not a descriptive book (doesn't give you each meaning of the cards or the possible interactions between them) but it guides you through the process of relating the cards to one another and to each specific situation.
It's also not a long, tiring book, it's straight to the point, easy and quick to read (good for beginners and more experienced readers).
So yeah, don't waste anymore time, just buy this book and see for yourself!!
I've been a professional reader for 6 years and I wish I'd read it sooner.
I even bought the Robin Wood Tarot (wich is the one she uses for the exemples in the book) - it was already in my wishlist.
The shipping to Brazil was quick too, just a few days.
