Born in New York City, Jeff Brown has been a story editor and assistant film producer in Hollywood. He has worked on the editorial staffs of The New Yorker and the Saturday Evening Post, and his stories have appeared in these magazines and many others. Mr. Brown is the author of several other books about the Lambchop family, including Flat Stanley, Stanley and the Magic Lamp, and Invisible Stanley, all published by HarperCollins.

My daughter loves these books. She just turned five and is starting to realize the worlds of entertainment that reading can open. She likes the balance of some pictures with longer stories. I recalled reading at least one of these when I was little and thought it would be a good fit. I had no idea how many of these books there were (we have six and may be getting even more) until we started reading them. This one involves the Lambchop family saving Christmas and the story is (per usual) well written has kept my daughter (she just turned six) interested and wanting even more. I won't give away the details but I really enjoyed how the story unfolds and how they pull off returning everything to normal.

It was fun when Stanly went ont he sleigh with his family.Shara was from Snow City and she rode the sleigh. When they got to Snow City they had hot chocolate with cinnamon in it and cookies . The lady who gave them was called Mrs Christmas. When they went into the room that Mr Christmas was in he called a elf to bring the Lambchop's file. When the elf gave the file to Mr Christmas he tead out the letters that they had wrote to him. When he had finished reading the letters out they jumped back onto the sleigh and Mr Christmas was riding the sleigh this time. But a bell flew off a reindeer and Stanly caught the bell.When Stanly and Athur were in bed they could not remember were the got it from.
