I just LOVE Catherine Coulter. This book todate is my favorite from her. I really like how she pushes the envelope. I usually find myself reading the one to two star reveiws, because I love the books with the strong male dominate role and some what weaker h roles. I love how the H was not in love with the h at first and was even pretty mean to her with hurtful words and actions. There are just not enough words to say how wonderful this book is. If you are not about strong, mean, forcful and sometime even hurtful H roles, with a weaker, take it (to a point) h roles, but all comes to a happy ending book; then this is NOT the book for you. For the rest of us....and I don't think there are many of us; then you will love this book.
Thank you Catherine Coulter for pushing the envelope and giving us a much better and more realistic romance read. Please, keep them coming, having a very hard time finding books like these and I have read almost all of you're historical romance books already. My hubby thanks you too. ;)

Okay, Rosehaven first and then Secret Song. Th people in the eleventh century had a hard time. I loved Daria and Roland. It's hard to understand that women had no rights and were treated as property. I'm glad they worked out their problems. Happy Reading.

Catherine Coulter spins an adventurous tale of love, romance and adventure. Daria is a beautiful strong heroine who remains strong even when the man she loves does not believe in her. An inspiring story that you cant put down.

I love Catherine Coulter and I've been reading her books for over 20 years. This is the first one I can truly call a dud. Nothing felt finished with this novel. The heroine never grew, The relationship never grew. There were so many plot points that none of the secondary characters or storylines was able to grow into anything substantial. The best thing was the marten. I haaaaaaate to say this because I usually love Catherine Coulter, but skip this one.
