About the author
Carla Cassidy lives in the Midwest with her husband, Frank. She's the author of over eighty books and can't think of anything she'd rather do for a living than tell stories.

The story itself is basically about the things that Marissa does for Jack, and the past that is haunting Jack. And it is all wrapped up way to fast at the end. Just when you think that the story is going to start its over. There was so much more that the author could have explored with these characters and it was disappointing that she didn't.
