I read a lot. I always read certain authors works, as soon as they are published. Carole Mortimer is one of those authors. I like her writing style because she writes with humor, with intelligence and her characters are realistic, even though they are all billionaires! I have noticed, lately that her books were becoming formula books. Her favorite words were "nubs and nubbins" when writing a sex scene. It would make me laugh!
But....At the Ruthless Billionaire's Command, Carole Mortimer wrote a novel that was completely unique. A beautiful romance. The hero is caring, the heroine is so very vulnerable. There is a villain and the hero must protect the heroine and she does not trust or believe in him.
This is a wonderful book. I enjoyed it immensely.
