I’ve read all the Vince Flynn series by this author. He did an excellent job. This particular was, in my opinion, not nearly as good. The story was interesting, suspenseful, but sometimes difficult to follow. Also, there wasn’t any particularly redeeming character in the book. It wasn’t, for me, a spellbinder.

A small group of men decided to solve the drug problem by their own devious and ruthless means with FBI trying to stop them.
An extremely clever and cynical former law enforcement agent John Hobart conceived and executed drug fighting plan, but is it really a solution in the end?

The world today is desperate to stop drug addiction, so anybody who cares should find the time to read a book like that.

But then, it is also a story against which you can test your own standards: do you accept that killing thounsands of coke-addicted poor people is acceptable when you can win the war against drug cartels ? This is not an easy task and Mills plays wonderfully with this dilemma. Therefore: the idea of the story is key and not the characters. Mills creates an action packed story around a whole new idea of fighting drugs but the characters remain weak. However, it is super entertainment...
