I'm quite happy with this watch
This is my first official smartwatch, having only dabbled with Fitbits before this. That out of the way, I'm quite happy with this watch. First, it's a very good looking watch; I've gotten quite a few compliments on it at work.Second, it runs well, after upgrading to Wear 2.0. About once or twice a day it will disconnect from my phone, but I'm not sure if the problem lies in the watch, the phone, or in user error (I might be walking too far away from my phone without realizing), so I'm not counting that against it. The problem is usually solved by cycling the Bluetooth off on the phone and watch, so it's not a massive issue either way.Notifications at a glance are nice, and having Google assistant a single button tap away is very helpful for me (I set reminders all day, I've gotten a lot more stuff done that I would have otherwise forgotten).Battery life is good. The 2 day line is only true if you leave the screen locked. The first few days I had it I was using it very heavily, leaving the screen on for long periods of time and downloading apps, generally playing with a new toy, and I would have to occasionally charge it in the middle of the day. Now that I have it all set up, and use it what I would call a "moderate" amount, and taking it off the charger at 8am, by midnight it's sitting at around 30%; more than enough for me. If you do need to charge it due to excessive use though, it does indeed charge very quickly- roughly 60% in 15 minutes as they state.UPDATE: February 14, 2018-So I've had the watch for a few months now, and I've tweaked it in a few ways that make it work better for me. First thing, I downloaded a watch face designer called Pujie Black, and it's ridiculously good- the tools you have with that app are endless to get the exact look you want, both active and ambient.I've been messing around with the power settings as well, because I was getting some inconsistent battery usage from day to day. I lowered the screen brightness to two above the lowest setting, turned off the tilt-to-wake feature (still functions when you get a notification), and customized my ambient screen to have all of the things I would look at my watch for- the time, the date, and the current weather (as per the picture). I get much more consistent battery usage throughout the day now, as the full screen doesn't turn on as much, and the always on screen lets it function more like a traditional watch, because to be honest, holding my wrist up at a specific angle and waiting for the screen to turn on was getting kind of old. Now, on a day that I don't get many notifications or use apps, I'll end the day with 50-60% of my battery, and with heavy use (using my watch to control my music for several hours), I'll end the day with about 30%. I did buy an extra charger to take with me, just in case, but I rarely ever need to use it.I also swapped out the base band for a metal band with a magnet clasp, and I much prefer being able to get an exact fit on my wrist
