Doesn't connect
Product arrived quickly so that's worth a star. After that, all ones. -13 if I could give it. The instructions say at sept 1. Connect Trezor to your computer or smartphone. The connection cable has a very loose, sloppy fit. (Doesn't snap in but it lights up) Says welcome! Then tells me to sign into the setup site. There it shows a photo of how the product should look with the hologram. Tells me if it is not the same or damaged, to contact them right away. Well I had to remove it to connect the device as they said in step 1. So now that's not clear. I replaced it enough to get a semblance of how it was before I removed the hologram and it seemed pretty ok. After getting through that, I went to the setup page where it tells me to select which Trezor I have then it goes to connect device. Clicking the connect tab did not give any results other than say "no device is detected." After searching the help pages, I got no results. Sent a message to the support desk. They tell me they received my submission but it could take 20 days to respond. (They must have a lot of issues to handle). My daughter warned me to not buy this but to get the Ledger. I should have listened but they were not available on Amazon this was one of their choices... I live where it's hard to get products of this type so I often use Amazon who does a good job with shipping and delivering to here. I'll give them time to resolve this. What else can I do? If they fix the problem, I'll update my report but for now, not happy with this item. Almost afraid to use it now even if they do fix it. This is sensitive stuff right here!! Attention!! Urgent message. My bad!. I take 80% responsibility for my device not working. I learned through the seller (who, by the way, was excellent at responding to my issue.) They offered me a full refund upon them receiving my returned item. I decided to do what I was afraid to before and force the cable connection on. It when in! and product worked perfectly afterwards. I think it would good if they mentioned that in the instructions. It's a very tight fit so don't be afraid to force it in. Mission accomplished and all is well. I like my Trezor now! Also check you hologram before you rip it off. That step is out of sequence and should be first.
