George Foreman GR59A Baby George Rotisserie
Amazon.com
Big enough to hold a 5-pound chicken, two Cornish hens, four kebabs, or four beef or fish steaks, this "baby" version of the George Foreman rotisserie brings the advantages of rotational cooking into the home, yet measures just 17 inches wide, 11-1/2 inches high, and 12 inches deep. The spit is just one of three cooking methods provided by the rotisserie. There's a flat basket measuring 6-1/2 inches square and 2-1/2 inches deep that hold foods like fish, steaks, and vegetables flat for grilling as they rotate, and four 8-inch skewers that fit into the rotisserie for kebabs and pork ribs. Other features include a lift-up cover with a window, a three-hour timer, and a pull-out drip tray. The rotisserie has a metal and plastic exterior and a metal interior for easy cleaning, and it secures firmly to a countertop with suction-cup feet. It carries a one-year warranty against defects and comes with a cooking-time chart and recipes. --Fred Brack

So far I've gotten to help fix a tenderloin and some hot dogs in this rotisserie. The Tenderloin was fantastic and the hotdogs tasted like I was at the ballpark (the best).
I was especially impressed with the simple design and easy setup of this unit. Plus the extra touches like the sticky fit so you don't bump this little thing over.
My biggest fear was that this would be a chore to clean up and boy was I wrong. Clean up is very easy as things are assembled so simplisticly (Kudos on the design) it's very easy to take the unit apart and clean and reassemble.
I highly recommend this unit to anyboy looking at a rotisserie, this unit is great for singles or couples.
Update: one solution I have found to the size is to just roast a full chicken breast, rather than the whole chicken. If you love the white meat like me, this is a great solution, no problems with even the largest breasts coming off. Haven't tried a turkey breast yet, but I imagine these would fit just fine as well! Only issue is that breasts are often a little pricier than cheap roasting chickens, and they can be a bit hard to find but for one or two people, this is a great alternative.
Second Update - Well, I recently bought the Foreman contact roaster and I now use that much more often than this. It does almost as good a job roasting chicken, but is far easier and quicker to use and clean. You could do pot roasts and other items as well, so unless you really have a desire for a rotisserie that takes up a ton of counter space and is a pain to clean, you might want to check that item out instead.
because my old one was used a lot during the years and it did not look very nice for a new house. But I just find out they have stopped to manufacture this one.
Only used one was available. It arrived but it was broken on both sides. Packaging was perfect...So I bought a plastic welder machine to fix it. We will see if I can succeed... People, don't throw away your good stuff because its warn down until you are sure new ones are available to buy...
If it was easier to clean all the parts I'd give it a higher rating. If you think you're going to use it often, I'd opt for something made better than this.
