Like the author, I have awakened to the realization that Joy is my state of being. I was amazed at all the technologies that he presented with. I highly recommend this book for all those seeking joy and happiness, as it will give you many resources along w ith lots of ideas to pursue.

A handy guide to what's out there in the way of various methods, products, inventions, apps, and techniques designed to bring more happiness into your life. So many areas are covered -- from supplements to brainwave entrainment to sleep apps to simple gratitude methods -- that everyone most likely will find something of interest that they can apply practically to their lives.

Jonathan Robinson has written another wonderful book, The Technology of Joy. This one is a cornucopia of approaches, techniques, devices and methods for creating more joy in our lives. Each of the 101 recommendations works well for many people and, if one doesn't activate delight for you, there are a hundred more to try. Jonathan is the most dedicated to finding and sharing the best possibles ways of increasing happiness for everyone. Robinson’s approach is that there are many wonderful, simple and inexpensive ways to experience joy in your life. He reasons that if we invest all of our joy or happiness in a few hard to obtain objects or people, we are likely to find disappointment. But if we are responsible for making our own joy through a practical and diverse portfolio of techniques and tools, then we can take our joy into our own hands. Robinson is a pioneer in integrating the leading edge field of wellness technology. As our science and technology skyrocket in the new quantum era, breakthroughs are happening quickly in every field. Robinson is riding this wave of new tech entries into the wellness market by merging all of the well-known methods such as psychology and supplements with the apps, gadgets and technology tools all in one book. A unique review of many useful tools including biochemical, digital, therapies and products in the market to change one's state of mind. Makes you think that moving up to a positive mood is highly do-able by persistent use one of those tools. I've never seen a review of this kind of what's out there to help develop a good mood and this is highly welcome to help one navigate many offers that have come on the market. At least we are told that the author has tried every tool himself and he does not appear to favour any of them in particular. Very interesting read. It'd be good to have a UK equivalent as many of the biochemical options are in the US and products over here are often different.
