Beautiful graphics. Great fun on this simulation. Although the bikes rendered are impressive and will keep you busy(there's even a two-stroke!), hopefully there will be future classic rides like the BMW 500 Rennsport, the Matchless G50, Nortons, Triumphs, DKW, the list gets bigger the further back you go. There have been a few updates and a FREE SIDECAR download with three choices. All rides are difficult enough to master, the Mountain course is difficult enough to master, the PS4 controller(in this sims' case) is verrrrry touchy but when all of it comes together at the same time and you are so in the groove it's like magic. I watch the TT every year, read magazines and such before the electronic age(yep I'm an old guy), so every time I hit something(and believe me you will. alot.) I'm dead, and I restart the course. People die every year on this track, and if you have it in you to scream through tunnels of trees at ungodly scary speeds you'll see why: You don't slide into a gravel trap or hit a barrier, you hit trees, walls, and houses. To just finish a lap without crashing is a milestone, and to make it under 20 minutes is a huuuge step. Riders, get it and you won't be sorry-casual/arcade gamers need not apply.

Have played/own Ride, Ride 2, Moto GP (various iterations), Driveclub motorcycles, and just about every game featuring two wheels. This is the best of them all to me. Sense of speed is superior, graphics and environment details are great, scaling is perfect, and I think the physics are perfect and better than Ride 2. I think for true motorcycle fans this is the one to get...and a total sleeper of a game. One thing to keep in mind though...it's not a good game in 3rd person view, as the camera angle is awkward. It's meant to be played in first person, and in my opinion on the hardest physics settings to truly shine. It requires patience, practice, focus, and learning the courses to succeed. The other thing is the AI can be frustrating and the noise made when the bikes collide is a joke. That's a minor issue though. Not for casual race fans and not for those just looking to jump in and have some arcade type fun. You need to learn the corners, bumps in the road (which to me is an awesome feature), who the bikes handle at the limit etc. I love that there's no reset on the course because it adds consequences to the game and forces you to actually improve rather than hit rewind over and over...in the same vein of needing to actually practice riding in real life over and over to improve. Not for those with short attention spans! Love the game, and the developer deserves high praises for this labor of love.

It’s been a long wait for a next-generation console game of the Isle of Man TT,…in fact since the acclaimed “Suzuki TT Superbikes: Real Road Racing” on the old PS2. This game, Ride On The Edge, has recreated the historic road racing circuit in much more detail and accuracy, and looks quite good on the PS4. For TT fans, this alone is worth the price of admission,… but then to race through that beautifully rendered circuit promises great enjoyment to come.

I have limited time invested in this game so far, but my initial impressions are very positive. It didn’t really take long for me to learn the controls and become proficient enough to make it around the course in 3rd person perspective, with only a few crashes. I have played many other motorcycle racing games however. Of course, one will maximize their satisfaction for the game the better they memorize the layout and nuances of the track, and master the handling.

This is more of a simulation than an arcade type game, so will take some invested effort on your part, to be paid back with interest. I would recommend starting off as if you were riding a real motorcycle, which is to say, start off slowly and only increase speeds as you learn the track and become accustomed to the controls.

Compared to Ride 2, the controls in Ride On The Edge seem less twitchy at speed, although a little too sensitive at low speeds. In Ride 2, I never got the sense that I could choose my racing lines given the twitchiness of the controls, however in Ride On The Edge, I am able to do so. The challenge of a motorcycle game should be in choosing the right racing line, braking points, and knowledge of the track,.... not in the controls themselves. Hopefully the low speed control sensitivity will be addressed in subsequent updates; I don't ever recall it being difficult to steer my motorcyle at low speeds, despite loss of gyroscopic force.

It would be nice if the developers could add support for a driving wheel. In the mean time, the following PS4 control stick extenders have helped with the steering sensitivity issue somewhat.....
FPS Freek Galaxy (Purple) Performance Thumbsticks for PlayStation 4 Controller (PS4)

The visual sense of speed is quite good as well, with increasing loudness of wind buffering as you go faster. A nice touch.

If you love motorcycle racing and the isle of man TT, this is the game for you. All the road courses they race on throughout Europe, Superbike and 600s. This game kicks ass!!!! I turned off the traction control and wheely control and it really makes it difficult and gives you a nice simulator feel of coming off a corner on a superbike or 600. Way cool!!!!!

Not for me, not easy to play, not enjoyable....Just get outside and ride, I sold it on eBay the next day. But recommended to gamers that don’t ride motorcycles in real life. I hope this helps, but my recommendation is to just get a bicycle or a dirt bike or motorcycle and get out and enjoy God’s Creation !!

Captures the sensation of being on a bike at insane speeds, with little details like wind noise getting louder as you accelerate or flashes of light hitting your windshield as you pass under trees. You catch yourself crouch forward on the couch and leaning into the turns. Great game and even better if you turn on Spotify for a soundtrack.

Nice graphic and animations. The only game that I know of offer the Isle of Mann road course in recent year. The handling of the bike is a bit off when compare to other motorcycle games like Ride2 or MotoGP 2017. Last game I owed has the IOM TT course was the PS2 Suzuki TT Superbikes.
