Fits the iPhone well, is a nice weight and the lens looks good. If you're in a situation where you have to shoot on iPhone, it adds just enough to make the device look a little more professional.

The housing is made of metal, and is incredibly strong. There's multiple mount spots, including the hot shoe.

I had to cut a large portion of the silicon phone case to have it actually fit into the aluminium body. The CNC or casting of the actual body is just a bit too small, by like a millimeter or two. If that was fixed it would be 5 stars, the camera lens are very well made, all of the screws and threads work well and have a good feel to them. The Microphone dramatically changes the sound clarity and quality of the iPhone. I recommend purchasing a stand with it as well, unless you already have one, and it would be great for Vloging or video conference calls.

This is an extremely well made item with a good lens but a poor plug-in microphone. Mine arrived without the rubber insert, but the supplier immediately shipped it. I tried the item out several times, but finally returned it because I didnt like the way that the camera is held into the mount. The fitup is very tight and is very difficult to remove the phone, even with the hole. Always was concerned that I would damage the phone. I dont have a solution for this, as you dont want the phone to accidentally pop out of the mount. Perhaps something like the Reti-cam adjustable mount or some other latching device. Also the microphone generated popping noises from time to time, probably from external sources.

First one I received the microphone did not work. Amazon was quick to get this resolved, and sent me a new one before I even sent the old one back. Amazon gets five stars, but unfortunately the product does not. The wide angle lens distorts anything outside of center quite drastically. Way more than with a normal wide angle lens. It's a good idea, and I'm gonna keep it, as it does have its place. Still, could use some work.

$123.95 accessory for your iphone. What a rip off. Digital cameras now a days are cheaper then before and you can get a high quality camera with a microphone accessory for under $85. This little bendable mic thing isn't new either. Just pick up the basic skill of soldering, unless your a girl you have no excuse not to know how to solder. Then pick up an old headset with a microphone. Cut it off, solder it to an auxiliary cable and there you go. Or just buy one just like this but better quality for under $6. Give me $15 and some elmers glue and I will build this rip off for you.

I will get the following:
-$7 iphone case
-$2 set of magnifying glasses
-$6 detachable microphone
--------
$15 -Total

I will glue this all together for you and have you pay for shipping and handling. Easy. Simple. Cheap.
Now unless you have a huge pile of money under your mattress and willing to waste your money be my guest. I am just here to offer an alternative.

*I also send an email to Bill Gates asking him if he would waste his money on this product. He did not respond. That means one can conclude he also agrees that this is a rip off. Thank you for your time.
