It makes a REAL difference on yarns that are delicate or thicker when you need to mark tighter pattern stitches.
When you are trying to mark a tighter and or thicker yarn, it doesn't split or get tangled up in the threads when separating stitches for the space/s you are looking for in your project.
Great product! 😃👍
I wish they came in more colors so I could identify my LHS vs. RHS and increases vs. decreases - I make a lot of garments that use leaning increases and it would be really nice to know at a glance what I am looking at. Lightbulb! I'm going to paint the heads on half of each color with a different color of nail polish - that way I will have 4 colors! A little work yes, but it will give me what I need.
These are sturdy, precision markers. You will be able to mark stitches in socks or small amigurumi without splitting your yarn or stitches so you will be pleased with their functionality. I'm just bummed about the color choices.
