First up the PROs
- Build: This thing is a freaking tank! It weighs about 12 pound and it feels heavy and solid . It really is a quality construction . The body is mostly made out of an aluminum alloy and to be honest I cannot see someone accidentally breaking it .The cord is a very nice and sturdy weave and the cord management are to metal prongs on the back to wrap it around.
- Looks : The colors of black , red and silver do compliment each other with a nice clean look . The shiny black plastic also looks great when it's clean . The LEDs are on the simple side but you can see them and they are not a distraction . There are also 2 LED strips on the side of it which I didn't even notice till someone pointed it out to me . When you open it up you see a very very nice fabric lined compartment meant to look like dragon scales and very wire management that is behind a plastic covering .
- Performance : Full Sanwa JLF and buttons are used and are as you would expect . The PCB used does seem to be a slight bit faster than what is in the Obsidian and maybe even the TE+ . Touch pad works well and it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack ..a rarity to be honest.
-Comfort: It's a big stick. It will fit on your lap well even with your knees apart. The weight feels great as I can mash on the buttons and stick and it doesn't seem to move much at all . Also the distance between the stick and buttons is a little wider so my hands no longer hit each other .
-Convenience: I thought I wouldn't like not having a compartment for the wire but the prongs are much easier . You just wrap it up and go . Having access to the inside of the stick is also a great thing if you ever want to mod it (I'm not sure if it voids your warranty though ) also has a some space to hold a cloth to clean it and maybe a button or two or a new ball/bat top.
And now the CONs:
-Portability: It's a freaking tank! I know I kept saying that the weight of it is a plus and it is in most cases but you are a tournament goer and not used to carrying something hefty around this can be a pain . With no handle or strap attachment I can see some people getting tired of lugging this thing around under their arm. I suggest getting a bag.
-Glossy black plastic: It looks great clean but it does attract smudges and finger prints like crazy . I'd imagine it will also get scratched up over time .
That's about it for the CONs. I really don't have much bad to say about this stick. It is a premium product and it shows.

That's about it for the CONs. I really don't have much bad to say about this stick. It is a premium product and it shows.
I've owned a few sticks in the past like a Madcatz USFIV TE, an old PS3 qanba and a few custom made sticks. This beats them all in terms of quality. I can not emphasise enough how well built this stick is. The Chassis housing the components is made out of solid aluminium. The top is covered by a thick sheet of piano black plexiglass. Having used this stick almost everyday for the past few weeks, the top panel holds up very well and you will not feel it bend over time and you won't hear any squeaking between the plexiglass and aluminium layer. The rest of the chassis is made out of high quality plastic and the bottom of the chassis is metal with rubber padding so that it feels comfortable on the lap and will not move. In short, the Dragon's Chassis is beautiful and can take any abuse you throw at it.
This stick uses Sanwa joystick and buttons. Considered by most to be the standard in fightstick components, the sanwa stick and buttons are highly responsive making them one of if not the best stick and buttons on the market. By default, the stick comes with a square gate for the stick/ lever. I had no problems pulling moves and combos in games like Street Fighter V and King of Fighter XIV.
If you want to change or mod the stick and buttons, doing so is incredibly easy. All you do is press the two buttons on the underside of the top panel and the top panel, supported by sturdy metal hinges with equally sturdy springs, easily opens up. Simply unscrew and remove the perspex cover and you can switch out all the components. The interior is beautiful. The wiring is so neat as the wiring has been braided and all the wires are colour coded to the buttons. There's a small chart showing you which wire colour corresponds to which button. The bottom of the compartment is lined with chrome keeping a silver piece of fabric with dragon scale patterns in place. Despite the large physical side of the stick, the compartment space is small, so don't expect to fit a blu-ray case inside. There is enough space to keep some spare parts and tools.
The leds are a cool edition. You can set them up so that they activate when a button is pressed, to respond to vibrations, keep them on at all times or switch them off. You also have L3, R3, Options and Share buttons on the very top of the panel with a touchpad underneath that. Using the stick on PC and PS3 is easy. Simply toggle a switch.
This feature needs it's own paragraph. This stick has a headset jack. That's right. You can use your favourite headphones and headset with this stick. It feels sturdy in it's build quality.
In the end, If you're in the market for a premium stick. This is the one to get. Quality build with quality parts. It feels incredibly responsive. It is pricy, but I do feel you get what you pay for with this stick. It's easy to maintain, switch or mod components. Despite it's weight, it feels incredibly comfy on your lap. If you're playing with it on your lap or on a table this thing isn't going to move around. It's a looker too.

I primarily game using a PC, so I have only tested this product using a PC on numerous fighting games.
For anyone looking to purchase this device, be warned - this is a heavy arcade stick. It is massive! So if you want to game with it on your lap, you have been warned.. it is just over 11lbs! (Dimensions: 20" x 12.5" x 5" Weight: 11.6 lbs) This has a very solid & sturdy build and it feels and looks like a high end product from top to bottom. It comes with Sanwa buttons and it can be easily customized if you choose to make tweaks to it.
I have zero regrets on buying this stick. It is worth it. However it is over $300.00 (CDN).
It is my second arcade stick as I do have the RAZER Atrox for my XBOX. I do like the look and feel of this stick slightly better than the Atrox. I have attached a photo for size comparison.
There are good quality grip pads under the arcade stick, so if you choose to use a table while you game, it will not slide around.
Overall, I would highly recommend this arcade stick if you do not mind spending the extra $ for a quality product from Qanba. One thing to note is that the surface of this arcade stick is very shiny with a high gloss finish that does attract finger prints quickly. I would recommend keeping a microfibre cloth close by while gaming.
Update: This works with the PS5. I’m super happy that this device continues to deliver performance in the next generation console.

ive used for i guess 300+ hours probably more havent needed to change anything yet it came with a square gate i change to octagonal when it arrived. also took this to two tournaments and it was heavy maybe 5kg i dont have a carrycase so hold under arm. im quite heavy handed and grind off the gate alot and still all crisp inputs
edit: 5 years 1000+ hours still crisp inputs and working fine. also regarding the plastic around the buttons someone wrote a paragraph crying about. ive never needed to take it off and i use the underpart of the stick that unlocks to keep my gloves and ethanol wipes to keep stick clean.
also works on PS5.
