ok so I was nervous to purchase these because of the leaking reviews so the first thing I did when I received them was to test it with water. The water did go trough and I was worried the batter would too but when I tried baking my thinnest batter, it did not go through so I am very happy with the purchase!! I do put parchment paper on the sides and bottom so not sure if that is what is helping it but it also helps with the cake not sticking.

Nice and deep square cake pans. They bake evenly and you havr roon to fill your layers in the pan if you so choose. The corners are easy to get your cake stuck in so be sure to spray them really well. Also you cant leave then wet at this metal tends to rust, although mine haven't yet. Over all great pans for the price.

I like these pans, plan and simple. These are really great. I didn't have any issues with cake seeping out the sides, which I read a lot of before I bought them. That being said, the corners are a HUGE pain to clean, and part of that is because they're square, but it's mostly because of how the pans were made. The pans are welded together at the edges, so there are tiny openings in between where the edges met and folded over. Even with all my scraping and picking with toothpicks and knives I still couldn't get all the gunk out, which is unfortunate, but when you need a cake with perfect square edges that's bound to happen, I suppose.

In addition the that some the of the walls of the pan came slightly bent. Not enough to be a problem, but enough to be noticeable. It just means I have to edge my cakes better than I normally would, but honestly, it's not that difficult.

All in all, I would say these are pretty great cake pans. They are tall enough that I can fill them pretty high, which is what I was looking for. Aside from the concerns I had with the edges I think they're a pretty good buy.

These worked perfectly for me. I saw a few reviews where others said they leaked, mine did not. They baked evenly and did not stick. I grease and flour the sides and use waxed paper on the bottom. My only regret is that I was being cheap and didn't order two sets, so I had to bake, cool, wash and bake the second layer. At this price, I should have bought more than one set and baked everything at once. I will order another set before baking any more square cakes. These pans have straight sides and sharp corners.

I made an anniversary cake with the three smaller pans. They were so easy to use and clean. They are heavy duty, deep, and have straight sides. One thing to keep in mind- they hold nearly twice the batter as a typical pan because they are so deep. I had to remake my cakes because I used the wrong amount of cake batter the first time. But the second cakes came out perfect, and the anniversary cake was beautiful.

It was a gift for my baker friend. and she is very happy. She wanted a pan which was not rounded at ends but is having sharp corners and this is exactly what she wanted. She is a professional baker and uses them all the time and they have had no problems. I bought these tins to do a wedding cake. After more than TWICE the baking time suggested the cakes were still not done. I used the EXACT same recipe I always use with Wilton pans (that has never failed me) and all three layers I baked had to be trashed. The cakes would come out of the pan and hold their shape but were unbelievably dense and heavy and just basically gross. There's no way I would serve them to a customer! I would return these if I could but my return window has closed. Apparently other users have had no problems but I will be trashing these tins or maybe using them as storage but they will never see the inside of my oven again!

These pans were received on schedule but disappointed that the 8" pan was dented, but workable. I had to make 2 cakes in the 8" and both stuck on the sides even though it was generously greased. I did not have that problem with the other 3 pans.

These pans are welded and leaked at the weld point. I had to put the pans on parchment paper to contain dripping onto the oven floor. I think this was the biggest disappointment. If I knew this ahead of time I would have planned for it instead of opening the oven to see melted shortening and cake batter dripping. I will say that the cakes had nice, sharp corners.
