    Useful smartwatch with fitness bummers
I have been a big fan of smartwatches since I owned the Samsung Gear 2 Neo. Unfortunately, that one was destroyed in the water when I forgot to take it off during a beach trip. I purchased this one when it came out (showed up less than 24 hours later! Love you, Amazon Prime), and I'm very satisfied with it.The design is very sleek and modern. The wristband is very comfortable and flexible, which is great because I partake in various activities that require me to move around a lot. You can change the wristband-- there are latches to easily remove and replace them. My favorite part of the design is the rotating edge around the watch face. It's very handy for times when I don't want to scroll through all of my pages to find something. By the way it's water resistant, but you shouldn't submerge it in water. You can wash your dishes and probably shower with it, but don't make the mistake I made and go into the ocean with it on. You don't really need it in there anyways. The interface is great. The apps are easy to access and you can customize what apps you'd like to have direct access to-- widgets, basically. There's a dropdown menu that provides a few things that you'd want to retrieve fast, such as brightness, do not disturb, or airplane mode. The brightness adjusts when it knows you're outside and it's very sunny, which is cool. The other watch didn't do that. You can customize your watch face with any picture, font, color, and notification you want. I love that I can use a picture I prefer and choose what notification I want to see (in my case, the pedometer). The exercise app is potentially a main app if you're interested in using this for that, and there are some issues. There isn't much options for me to choose what type of activity I'm doing. It's basically just running. This sucks because I do other activities other than running and I'm unable to have easy access to track it. It does track my active and inactive minutes, and also vibrates when it's noticed that I haven't gotten up in a while. You can choose how often you want it to remind you. In running mode, it automatically sets your location on, keeping a record of your workout. That's always fun. It tells you a detailed report of your workout, such as the mileage, heart rates, distances, and calories you've burned. Another downside is that I used to be able to track my sleep on my older watch. This watch doesn't have that option. It's extremely disappointing to me, and almost made me want to return it. However it does track my heart rate, which I like, as well as my water and caffeine consumption. The other apps are fun and a lot of them are quite useful on a watch. Timers, finding your phone, text messages, alarms, calendars, and weather are a few of the apps I mainly use. There are also more entertainment-related apps that aren't necessary but are quite fun to do from a watch interface. You can set as many notifications as you'd like from your phone (which I do), but you can't access them directly on the watch. For the most part, it'll direct you to look at your phone, apart from the messages. You cannot make calls on this watch unlike the older version. It's kinda annoying to talk into your wrist anyways. Wasn't an issue to me. It also makes no sound, it's all vibrate. That's also fine with me. Less annoying.Overall, I use this watch on a daily basis and it has made an impact. It has made me aware of my health, I just really wish they make an update to it so I can have more options for exercise.
