    Came as suggested. Even with a picture delivery. I was hoping for a dupe of a GO PRO mount that screws on my JOBY. It snaps in place however I can’t secure it down with the rubber. I just can’t use it because it will slide off. But good price.

    These mounts are the Amazon Basics version of the GoPro Tripod mounts. While I haven't seen the GoPro version of the mounts first hand, it's hard to imagine that they can be much different from these mounts. At the time of my purchase however, as an Amazon Prime customer, the price on the Amazon Basics version was about $9 cheaper than the best price + shipping I could find on the GoPro version from any other vendor. I'm very happy I saved the money as these mounts do the job perfectly well.

    As you can see from the marketing photo here, the quick release mount does have "Amazon Basics" printed on the side in white. Twenty seconds with a black Sharpie took care of that for me. The mounts are sturdy, well made, and the 1/4-20 threaded tripod socket (standard for tripod screws) is made of metal and solidly embedded in the mount. The quick release mount has two metal tripod sockets on the bottom, one in the center and one on the forward edge, so you have a choice in positioning on your tripod for a bit of fine control. The turnbuckle mount has a single socket on the bottom which is all there is room for anyway.

    Now that I have these in hand, I recommend them highly. Purchase these with confidence.

    Let's get the con out of the way early.

    Not a very snug fit between the mount and the gopro/action cam mount. No big deal you say, right till you start to edit your video and all you hear is click click click every time the camera moves.

    Ok now the up side. Very easy fix! Just add some gaff tape or Tessa tape to the base along the center guide and problem solved.

    They hold up very well as I slide my mount between this and other mounts tons of times a day when filming.

    I will be ordering a few more so I do not have to switch between tripod plates.

    Used to mount my GoPro to a selfie sick for getting closer to fish when snorkeling. As others have mentioned, these may have some flashing on the mold parting lines. That can make mounting these more difficult. Using a small file to remove that resolved the problem. Since then, it works great. That's something you may have to do, in return for a great price. But better yet, get the Smatree SmaPole Y1 Telescopic Pole. 48" extendable and it comes with a GoPro mount. That stick is awesome! Especially for a regular pocket camera and what I call "couplies."

    I have quite a few of the normal tripod mount but have been trying to find the quick-link plate forever and finally have one. Not having to unscrew the mount from the quick-release foot before attaching a tripod saves me quite a bit of time and effort on location not to mention fewer lost pieces. Wish i could order just the quick-release plate part of this to save on what i don't need more of.

    Pretty basic. Fits the smatree quick release well. One thing that is disconcerting is when the base is tightened to a mount, the base continues to rotate with a ratcheted feel as if the metal screw fitting is stripping. I wouldn't use in a situation that may put stress on its 1/4 20 screw fitting such as a mount on a car hood or helmet. It might not be by design, but I'll still use it in situations that confidence in its function can be low. I may have received a defective product based off the others I possess that don't slip.

    The material used seems to be very good quality. Other mounts I have had feel cheap, but this feels of qood quality.

    The quick-release mount I received was hollow and manufactured to poor tolerances. My Gopro-brand QR adapter wouldn't latch into this QR mount unless I pressed REALLY hard, and then the click wasn't very reassuring. The 3-tab tripod mount was a sloppy fit with the Gopro-brand frame so I had to tighten the thumbscrew uncomfortably hard to get the camera to stay upright. And with that much gap to close it's not likely to last. I wouldn't trust my camera to either of these. I returned them to Amazon.

    lo he comprado para una gopro hero 7 black, y queda perfecto, el material es muy robusto, no parece plástico de baratija, todo lo contrario es bastante grueso y tiene pinta que aguantará bastante lo que le eches.

    Lo uso para colocar la gopro en un gorillapod y ningún problema, encaja todo perfectamente, resiste los movimientos que le des y como he dicho antes, no da sensación de que sea material débil o que se vaya a romper.

    Si eres aficionado al video y tienes la fortuna de tener una o varias Gopro yo creo que estos accesorios son vitales ya que te permiten utilizar cualquier accesorio para cámara normal o DSLR, poder utilizarla con un tripie genérico puede ser la diferencia entre cargar mucho equipo a una sesión o llevar y comprar algo especifico para cada cámara.

    Los materiales son de plástico ambos pero se nota que su construcción esta bien hecha y que aguantan un uso más rudo de lo habitual, ademas de que es ligero.

    En general no hay mucho que decir además de que si vale la pena aún cuando sea para estar prevenido en caso de tener que usar diferentes monturas o poder adaptarlo a equipo de fotografía mas especializado.
