Great case. It’s looks amazing (especially after coming from a super bulky otter box). I was worried about durability because it’s such pretty case but It’s super durable ( I drop this phone a lot, hence the otter box- which I replaced because I BROKE IT. Yes, i broke an otter box).

Anywho, I love this case; the look, the feel, the durability, oh and the dual light is awesome! I’ve had this case for 2-3 weeks now and have only charged the light twice (disclaimer: I don’t actually use the light that often. But, I do accidentally hit the button to turn it on several times of day).

Ps. I didn’t try to take off the case until I got ready to write this review (it was one of the questions asked). Just know that once you put it on it stays on forever. I think I’ll have to break it to take it off.

I was excited to find a LuMee case for such a low price. When I first learned about these a few years ago, they went for about $50-60 (much more than I was willing to pay for a cellphone case with selfie lights). Having been using mine for over a month, I've come to like the dimming feature most. Holding the back button down allows you to dim the light and adjust. My iPhone 7 has dropped and hit the ground several times and the case has remained intact.

The only thing I had to grow used to was the location of the on/off button. It's in the back, about an inch away from the camera, and so I would end up turning the light on by mistake while holding the phone in my hand or putting in my pocket, for example. Overall, given the price, I think this was a great buy. The case itself feels very study, which keeps my phone protected and the dimmable light creates the perfect glow.

I do have to agree with it being a pain to get off but I found if you take an old gift card and stick it under the charge port and slide the card left or right to help pop it out it comes off just fine no damage to my phone or case DO NOT USE A QUARTER LIKE I FOUND ON OTHER REVEIWS IT WILL SCRATCH THE S**t out of your phone (found out from reading other reviews lol)

So, I gotta say, as far as the lighting is concerned, I'm a little in love. It's the rest of the case I have issues with. The biggest issue I have is that the black finishing on the case is peeling off around the edges, enough to make it look like I've had the case for way longer than three months and also enough that it would actually flake off on my hands. Of course, it didn't start to peel until after the window to return closed so I'll probably use it for a few more months and then move on to a different brand. Another issue I have is how bulky it actually is on the phone. I feel like the pictures make it look slimmer but I apparently was delusional about it. Another negative is that the button is super sensitive and if you slap a pop socket on the back (since it's actually pretty hefty in weight) you may or may not blind yourself at odd times. Overall, just not a good case in my opinion. For $12 you can get a selfie light from e.l.f. and call it a day.

Love the case! I use to have a Lumee case in white marble for my iPhone 6, but it only had the lights on one side and was around $50 buying it from Lumee’s official website. Needless to say, when I upgraded phones and found this gem for around $20 I was sooo ecstatic. The lights on both sides dim so you can adjust them both to your liking & the sturdiness of the case is just how the older version I had use to be (which can be a bit bulky if you’re use to otter box cases or any thin/flimsy plastic casing).

With these cases, you are supposed to be able to change the brightness but the one I received is defective and does not let me change the brightness setting. This item was said to be in the original package without any listed defect. This is disappointing and I plan to return it because it is stuck on the brightest setting which is blinding causing it to be unusable. It also took more than the listed 4-5 days to receive my item which made it extra disssapointing when I ended up with a late and defective item,
