From the LA DAILY NEWS - "Sometimes a movie possesses such a quiet beauty that it genuinely casts a spell on you while you're watching. ``Still Breathing,'' the debut of writer-director Jim Robinson, is such a film, a romantic comedy that stands the genre on its ear. It's a movie filled not with jokey concepts or inane banter but with grace and charm and two wonderful performances from leads Brendan Fraser and Joanna Going. To call it a great date movie would limit its accomplishment. It's a great movie, period."

This is a perfect movie. Perfect script, director, cast, and even score. I rarely give such a rating to a film but "Still Breathing" is in my top ten list of all time. It is simply beautiful in a hundred ways. The chemistry between Fraser and Going is palpable. And the setting for that chemistry mixes the charm of San Antonio, Texas as well as the hustle of Los Angeles. Google "cairn" and then watch this film, you'll understand why later. Do not miss this film! Ken Ashe

Not available for a decade or more, this GEM of a film is being re-released by the director, James F Robinson. Critically acclaimed and a joy to experience make this film one of the most special romantic comedy/dramas ever made. I think it's more timely now than when it came out in 1998. I already have several copies in my possession as well as the soundtrack. The perfect date night movie to experience over and over. Beautiful cinematography highlighting San Antonio and Los Angeles, a wonderful mix of songs, classical music and original score, and smart witty writing make this a highlight for me on pretty much every level. You won't be disappointed. RICHLY remastered for 4k, this is one not to miss!
