Ms. Force does it again with a story that hits extremely close to home for Sam when she returns from an evening out with husband Nick and son Scotty to find niece Brooke huddled on their doorstep naked and covered in blood. And from there things only get worse, when Sam is called to a house that Brooke may have visited only to find a group of teenagers have been murdered. Which causes a huge conflict of interest for Sam, who wants nothing more than to find out who is responsible for her niece's condition. But that's easier said than done, especially with trouble brewing at home as Nick gets increasingly frustrated with Sam's eagerness to interfere in an investigation, she knows she can't be part of, and what follows is an exhilarating, emotional, roller coaster of a story, that I could not put down. And it's one I would happily recommend to all.

Another good read in this series. Maybe not as action packed as some but seems to be setting up the characters for future books.
