I did like this monitor. I got it on the recommendation of DSLR Video Shooter (Caleb Pike) because it was a low cost monitor with a lot of great videographer features. I have used it for about 100 hours total and now it just turns on and blanks the screen out randomly making it unusable. It’s only got a year warranty based on the manufacture date from the bar code, not when you purchased it. When it works it’s great but there are drawbacks such as draining the battery when it’s off because of the LED on the monitor. Plan on it failing and you won’t be disappointed. I contacted their support and they offered to sell me a $70 board to replace on my own. I declined and will just buy a good quality monitor like I should have to begin with.
When I first got the monitor looked really nice but I think I got a defected one because my screen had a little purple mark No big deal I started to film with it and Now it isn't working. when I turn it on A yellow light comes on the side.
The screen is great. The top mount buttons (my power button didn't work correctly and caused the unit to continuously cycle power, or it would just stuck in the off position) and bottom mount connectors is a poor design. Low cost, but that comes with poor quality control and less than user friendly design in this case.
I feel freaking cheated, you guys should have made it clear that the product "DOES NOT" come with a charger or battery. That is so wrong, you all embarrassed me in front of my client and disappointed my team.
