Product looks very promising. Potentially Anker’s best portable charger.
Magnificent product!! I’ve been keeping up with Anker for quite sometime (own dozens of their cables and AC adapters), but I’ve never purchased one of their portable chargers before, they have tons of different models it can be hard to choose. But when I noticed on Reddit this was being released, I instantly knew this was going to be the one I was going to buy. I went ahead and jumped the gun the second they hit Amazon. The price point does seem pretty steep but then again. This is probably, if not their most capable portable charger they have to offer. It’s also bundle with a USB-C to USB-C cable, PowerPort Speed PD 30 charger (this guy is FAST) and a mesh pouch! So in the end I personally think the price point is easily justified. Upon receiving it [October 26th, 2018] I went ahead and unboxed it. And the first thing I noticed was the QUALITY of this thing! The gray top portion (the one with the charging rings and Anker branding) seems to be made out of aluminum, I’m almost certain. It definitely feels like it, and it’s cold to the touch. And the bottom is made out of a super soft touch material I’ve never experienced before. Similar to a soft silicone phone case, but it doesn’t seem to attract lint, as of yet (big plus). I have yet to put it through it’s paces, but I’m sure it’ll do great like all other Anker portable batteries. Will update in a month or so regarding it’s performance. All in all, it’s definitely worth picking one of these up. It is a bit hefty in weight (15 ounces) just shy of 1 LB. I knew that going into it, but it’s definitely worth it. One can easily throw it in a backpack or something and forget about it. Now I can happily “fast charge” my iPhone XS and Nintendo Switch simultaneously. Sweet!

Bought on sale, and it's a monster.

It's a large/thicc boi, and I couldn't imagine stacking this in your pocket with your phone, it's also pretty heavy. However, it feels well put together in hand. Haven't had a chance to test the USB-Hub functionality. 10w IQ, 15w IQ, AND a PD USB-C port means things thing can charge darn near all your devices, including a Nintendo Switch, or Google Pixelbook. Practical usability is very good here. No LCD screen, or wireless charging, just a large power capacity, multiple ports to charge from, a 30w USB-C Smart Charger, and a short USB-C cable in the box.

Tested the included smart charger with a 1st Gen Google Pixel, and it charges rapidly and eases off at the top end, exactly like a smart charger should.

By and large, I feel like Anker has very durable cables, and devices that are definitely worth their cost. This was my first Anker power bank, and my first Anker charger, and I'm not at all disappointed. I paired mine with Anker Poweline+ Cables just because. I feel like I have a power bank and charger that will last me a while.

Now, the Ravpower 28600 is also available for a similar price (that I paid on sale), but that doesn't come with USB Hub functionality OR a charger in the box. It's still a fine alternative, if you need a larger battery, don't care about the hub, or already have a charger though.

I was on the hunt for a portable PD charger that had enough capacity, ports, and portability to use while on business travel. This is the one!

It offers a symmetric USB-C PD port for the charging of the battery itself as well as your gear. The PD port is the port you will use the most, but for other devices that still need a USB-A to micro/mini/another lightning, those are there as well, but I primarily use this for fast charging my iPhone XS Max and it does a remarkable job of that. It's unquestionably faster on the PD port...2x over regular anker Power IQ ports.

I was compelled to write this review because not only does this charge mobile phone, but with my laptop (2017 15" MBPro Touchbar) closed (sleeping), the battery pack will charge this laptop when you need a top up while on the go with no easy access to outlets.

It will also allow you to use a laptop (only tested on the aforementioned model) with the battery plugged in, and depending on application power consumption, will leave you close to net zero from a power consumption perspective. This means: your laptop will not charge when it's in use, but the power drain is significantly slower (and again, depending on how you are using your machine, often times it will not drop power level, it will not gain any significant level either) with the battery plugged in.

To top it off...hardware wise, the finish and look of this battery is actually the most impressive i've seen from Anker to date.

Kudos to Anker for making an excptionally versatile battery pack for those of us who are mobile and seemingly searching for the ever evasive power outlet.

It is a beautiful device and the battery works fine.
The only problem is that USB Hub mode operates differently with different computers.
Anker has first class support, though so if it doesn't work with your computer, they will help.

Anker is usually my go to brand when it comes to battery chargers and cables and I'm happy to report that it still is!

Having re-tried this product, I can assure that the quality produced by Anker is top notch! The device is excels at charging your devices at incredible speeds, and it works extremely well to keep your Nintendo Switch charged up as well.

I had a slight hiccup, but Anker's customer service team was able to help me resolve the issue that I was experiencing.

Very happy with this purchase. This portable charger feels like a quality product, has plenty of power, has a good variety of ports for current state of technology, and has a very handy travel bag that can carry quite a bit more in addition to this charger and its own accessories. Well done, Anker!

The main reason I bought this was to charge my USB C Chromebook Plus and my Google Pixel 2.

It charges the Pixel 2 with rapid charging and but will not charge the Chromebook Plus.

Disappointed. I am returning it. However, Anker was very helpful in responding to my concern and if you don't need the charger to charge a laptop it will probably work very well for you.
