Compared to both the Index and the Rift S at the time, with it being around $388, this was perfect. It was low-cost, I'd seen videos, was a good size, it even had the eye adjustment scroll wheel under the monitors.
Needless to say, I bought this the morning after. The shipping was fast, as in, arrived during the same week if I remember correctly.
After it arrived, I got straight to messing with it. It makes you draw out your whole room, it took a couple of tries to get it exactly the way I wanted to, but if anything that wasn't a fault of the headset, that was me being picky.
After I set it up, to my confusion it started downloading the Windows Mixed Reality software. So a fair warning to other buyers, the WMR headsets won't be able to simply run through SteamVR, they have to start up in the Windows Mixed Reality program first, then you can load up SteamVR through it. It's a bit annoying, but I got used to it a couple times after using it.
Now onto the real meat of the review, the performance. I haven't had any serious problems with VR games, at least none that couldn't just be solved with a game restart. Frames through all the games I've played (Beat Saber, Bland & Sorcery, TWD: S&S, Arizona Sunshine, etc.) have stayed at a steady pace and never had a serious drop in frames. The motion detection and sensors on the headset are very accurate, seeing as I haven't had any issues with them yet, however it it very important to keep the controllers within the sight of the cameras/sensors, as when they lose sight of them they begin to glitch out.
The picture quality certainly leaves something to be desired, however I got used to it after a while.
Whereas the comfort certainly is something I do have to nitpick about. For the first few minutes of putting it on, there was nothing negative to say at all, and to an extent there still isn't. However I do have to say that after maybe somewhere from 1 hour-2 hours during usage the cushion that rests against your forehead does begin to start hurting. Again, you shouldn't necessarily be playing for an extended duration anyway, but I still felt I had to mention this regardless.
Also, there is an eye gap adjustment wheel underneath the monitor to align the eye sockets of the headset with your eyes, depend on the width between your eyes, something I find is essential in VR headsets.
So I think I'll finish this out by saying that I am very satisfied by the quality of the Odyssey+, even after a couple months of usage.
TL;DR - Reasonable cost, decent pixel quality, very little to no light bleed, comfortable, no technical issues, very good for the price.

The setup for WMR was smooth, you just plug everything in and turn on the controllers and map the room and you are ready to go.
Firing bows pretty much always works. I read somewhere about how it does a simple prediction of where your hands are going when they leave vision, using the gyro and accelerometer sensors in the controllers. It's not perfect, it only seems to work for a few seconds, but if you're firing quickly or use your forward hand for precise aiming, it works fine.
Going prone basically doesn't work. Your cameras are too close to the floor to track reliably, and they bug out pretty quickly. Luckily, going prone is a very rare thing to need to do, even in Pavlov or Onward.
The screen is very good. The anti-SDE (screen door effect) layer helps immensely with being immersed. I would rather use this over a higher res screen with a bad screen door effect.
