Worked for me, with some modifications
I've suffered from plantar fasciitis for several months and have tried compression sleeves, therapy, NSAIDs, massage balls, rolling it with a frozen water bottle, etc., and while they've helped alleviate the pain for a short time, nothing was able to cure it. Every morning regardless of what I did the day before, I would step out of bed with stabbing heel pain. I saw the reviews for this sock and decided to give it a try. I decided against the splints because they sounded too uncomfortable. I had low hopes of this working simply because I didn't think I could sleep with it on. Im one of those people that can't have anything touching me when i sleep. I know, its weird, but I just can't sleep that way. I even kick the covers off my feet because my feet feel restrained. So the idea of something pulling on my toes all night sounded impossible. The first night with the sock, I took it off after a couple hours. The pulling on the toes was just too annoying to me to sleep. So I did what another reviewer suggested and bought a .98 pair of flip flops from Walmart. I cut the straps off and inserted the pad. That night was much more comfortable. The pad kept the sock from pulling directly on the toes but still bent my foot the proper way. I wasn't quite able to get to sleep the second night and took it off again. The mesh pattern and flip flop material bothered me. So the next night i placed a sock over the pad and put it back in. That was the trick. It was very comfortable and I was able to sleep all night through. After two days of this, i woke up to no stabbing heel pain. I still feel a dull ache down there but the pain has improved amazingly. I'm confident that I will be fully healed soon. This sock is the best!

1.0 out of 5 stars Low Quality
Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2023
I have been suffering with Plantar-Fasciitis for almost a year now. I was told this sock would almost fix my pain in my foot. I used it for jot even a week, when the elasticity started going. The sides of the sock started pebbling from the velcro. I then saw a whole in the toe portion of the sock. The whole is almost 2 inches big. It is right where the stitching from the toe attaches to the band that pulls the toe upward. If this is the name brand and high quality, why is it tearing and not working.
