Fantastic and durable!
I love love these water bottles. I have two of them that I bought in 2017 and I'm writing this review in 2020. They've been all over the world, tied to backpacks, hanging from bikes, run through the dishwasher countless times.. and this is what it looks like now, three years later. It keeps cold drinks super cold for hours - with the lid on, I frequently find ice in them more than 24 hours later. They also hold an entire bottle of wine ;) just saying....The lip is easy to drink from and the handle loop is easy to carry (I bought mine with the loop stainless steel handle). There has been almost zero scratching of the powder coating on this one or the lime green one I have. The only thing plastic on this is the gasket around the base of the lid. About once a month, I'll throw it in the sink with vinegar and hot water, then rinse it. As you can see, it has held up fine.These are totally worth it! Buy buy - you won't regret it.

5/2/16 took a star off. Today while washing, the little metal disc that covers the silicone seal on the bottom of the thermos came off exposing the silicone plug that maintains the vacuum. I thoroughly dried the bottom of the thermos and the metal disc and reattached it with some Shoe-Goo. Let's see if that holds!? Without that metal disc in place, I can see how one could easily knock in the plug and breach the vacuum making the item kind of useless as a thermos.

6-7-2016 Ordered a second one in grey... same thing. First time in the dishwasher the metal disc on the bottom detached from the container leaving the silicone seal for the vacuum hole exposed. This time, it is white silicone instead of clear and seemed a little firmer than the stainless unit I first received. Regardless, this plug/adhesive did no better a job of retaining the protective disc. A large pea size dab of shoe goo and pressed the disc back on so the adhesive came to the edges and no problems since with washing or retention.
Considering the price point they are still a good value IF you already have a tube of Shoe-Goo or similar adhesive to repair the units when they start to fail (they don't lose' their vacuum unless the actual adhesive plug itself is compromised). If you don't have the adhesive in your drawer, rather than buying some, just spend a few extra bucks on one of the similar units more highly rated that don't have this seemingly ongoing problem. They have obviously changed the adhesive but it's still not getting the job done so taking another star off!

6-27-16 The gray plastic paint on the exterior of the bottle started flaking off. I sent a message through the Amazon portal and Glacier point promptly replied and gave me a full refund on the bottle. They also asked I give them another try due to changes in manufacturing...

7-6-2016 I am glad to report that both of the issues have been addressed. The bottle is now powder coated and there is not metal disc on the bottom covering the whole. Whatever is being used to seal the whole has no give and is now covered completely with the powder coating. Glacier Point finally resolved all of the manufacturing issues with these bottles and now they do everything one could ask. No more disc to fall off, seal the hole on the bottom so vacuum integrity is not at risc, and go from a painted coating which failed, to a powder coating.
Top that off with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE they have earned a 5 star rating.

So I bought my original bottle in the stainless finish in July and loved it so much I decided to get a few more to give out as gifts for Christmas. Everyone is getting the "yetti, orca, & rtic" tumblers and personalizing them. But most of my family are gym rats so I figured this would be great and personalizing these would be a nice touch. Well as nice as the colored powder coat finish looks it is not smooth it is textured (unlike the tumblers mentioned above) so the money I spent on monogram and specialty decals for each was wasted. They will not stay on! I wish I would have known this. I would have went a different direction. So that disappointment aside. The second thing is that my original bottles "bonus" cap was great!! I love it and have had no problems with it at all. These all came with what to me looked to be a much cheaper made plastic style cap that is not as nicely constructed as my original. I have read through current reviews and see lots of questions regarding the "bonus" cap not working properly! I sure hope that won't be the case with these since I am giving them as gifts. I am not sure why they switched to this new style of cap because the one that came with my original purchase is really nice! Other then the two things I mentioned above I still feel I received a good product at a fair price. I just hope these function as well as my first one. If they do not I will update this review once more.

I needed a water bottle that wouldn't leak but would hold ice water for hours. Well this one exceeded my expectations! I love the two lid option and that it comes with two straws! Excellent find for the price especially!

I carry a reusable water bottle with me pretty much everywhere- yeah, I'm that guy. I used to use a plastic one I had because it was free, but after the bottom of it broke from dropping it a few too many times and water came pouring out I decided it was time to upgrade to a stainless steel bottle. Many of the people I know have Hydroflasks, which is where I started my search and quickly moved on after seeing how insanely expensive they were. I'm ballin' on a budget, I wasn't about to throw $40 at a water bottle. Anyway, I came to Amazon and found this gem. Budget friendly, came with the metal lid and the sport lid with straw and came in a plethora of colors. As other reviewers have stated, the sport straw is SO LOUD! I used it once or twice before deciding it wasn't for me. I've used this water bottle almost every day for the past year. Haven't had a problem with rust or mold. I've dropped it plenty of ties, bumped it accidentally into walls. It's rolled off of the passenger seat of my car before falling to the floor. It has collected a few scuffs along the way but is still entirely in tact. The seal on the metal lid is perfect and it keeps cold water cold for awhile. I once filled it with ice cubes to the top, filled it with cold water, and then left it in my car on a hot summer day during work. When I returned most of the ice cubes were still the same size as when I put them in and the water was still REALLY cold, which is something a plastic bottle cannot offer. Buy this, enjoy it, spend the extra $20 you're saving by not buying a Hydroflask and treat yourself.
