See Gaming Differently
Acer KG281K 28" monitor features Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) presenting stunning, high quality images with excellent detail that not only enhances users’ working efficiency, but creates outstanding visual enjoyment.
With AMD FreeSync, the game’s frame rate is determined by your graphics card, not the fixed refresh rate of the monitor. This means the monitor’s frames are synced with the graphics card’s frames, which eliminates screen tearing and delivers very smooth gaming experiences.
KG281K monitors, which support up to 10 bits, will capture 64 times more color than their 8bit counterparts, allowing images to appear smoother and more realistic.
A fast response time of 1ms enhances the in-game experience. No matter how fast-moving the action is, transitions are rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting.
Viewing Comfort
Acer's large 28-inch flicker-less monitor eliminates annoying screen flicker, and provides a comfortable viewing experience, especially for those heavy monitor users, like programmers, writers, students or graphic designers.
Acer VisionCare technology incorporates several features that take into consideration prolonged usage by heavy users such as programmers, writers, and graphic designers to reduce eye strain and provides a more comfortable viewing experience.
Sharp Style that’s Friendly
Give your neck a break too; the ergonomic stand lets you find your most comfortable view with tilts from -5°- 15°.
As part of our commitment to sustainable operations and corporate social responsibility, Acer uses methods to carry out product design and material management distinctly meant to reduce environmental impact.

this monitor looks amazing. 60hz at 4k looks great compared to what I had before. that being said, i have thoroughly enjoyed this monitor and it's great for very casual or cinematic gaming. I'm running a Ryzen 3900x and an RTX 2070 and i was able to get most games running at 50-60fps at or near max graphics settings in 4K.
games look very pretty on this monitor and it seems responsive. i would probably not notice the difference between 5ms and 20ms response times, so the best i can say is that i didn't notice any input lag between my clicks/input and the action i saw on the screen.
i have noticed 2 glaring issues that this monitor has.
1) theres one dead pixel in the upper left corner of the screen. the only reason I noticed it was i thought it was dust at first and it didn't go away after i tried to wipe it off the screen. even knowing that it's there, it's small and it happens to be somewhere out of direct sight; i rarely ever notice that it's there. i didn't notice it until after I had owned the monitor for about year.
2) when watching videos and looking at images, sometimes i notice the screen flickering when the majority of the screen is darker. this is significantly less apparent in games, and much more apparent in videos and movies with dark, moody, or low-light scenes.

I already contacted Acer about the issue and they say they tested it and couldn't find the issue so they sent it back to me but it was returned with a new issue and they fixed that issue but still couldn't reproduce my first issue.
I tried different cables, different gpus, and different power sources but the issue still persists. So I gave up trying to get Acer to find and fix the issue and just leave it as a secondary monitor.
1. You can get the monitor solely for overclocking it above 60hz if you want, but you have to run the monitor at 1080p or lower. I was able to get an 80hz 1080p signal to work perfectly. Not ideal but some people may want to.
2. 10 Bit Color Depth: You can use the monitor in 10 Bit mode, you just have to do a few things. (For Nvidia, I don't use an AMD card) Go into your Control Panel. Go to "Change Resolution" and scroll down to the "Apply the following settings" and change your Color format to YCbCr422 then click apply. Go back to the panel and change the Output Color Depth to 10 bpc then hit apply.
Also, when I got the monitor the first time, I got the 1080p 144hz monitor instead of the 4k one I purchased. I sent it back and got the 4k one after 2 days. Was kinda weird that they mixed it up.
Top reviews from other countries
This product is overall good, picture quality, brightness and built-in speakers are also reasonably good, 4K 60Hz is awesome for creators, for gaming I might suggest 144Hz monitor if you have powerful GPU but for me it is the best choice, also DP cable was included, so amazing, absolutely recommend it.
I am not a gamer, but still I use this monitor with my work laptop.
With 4k, you get 4 times the screen space, making possible to see large spreadsheet, tables, diagrams etc.
You can open your documents, mail, messenger all in one screen side by side.
So if you are straining your eyes on that tiny laptop monitor for hours every day, this would be the best investment you can make for yourself.
Strongly recommended.
