The app is clunky, slow, and frustrating to use. It takes upwards of 15 seconds to go from menu to menu as it tries to reinitialize live view every time. The live preview is only capable of showing you what what camera sees. You can't see the scene, not even a rough hard-stitch, nothing. It can't even send multiple views at the same time so you could at least see what you're capturing. The live preview also doesn't work while you're shooting. What's the point? It's totally useless. I found that in the middle of shooting, the camera also randomly disables its WiFi. You can't re-enable it again without physically walking up to the camera and pushing the WiFi button again. So, you lose any ability to remote control it.
On to the PC software... first you have to activate it. Instead of letting you just type in the serial number for the camera, they go through this process where it's detected based on the USB device descriptor. This is a complete waste of time, because it fails to work depending on the camera mode. (Hint: Don't put the camera in "live mode" or the software won't activate! It must be in MTP/PTP mode.) This activation process also means it's impossible for you to use their software in any sort of cloud-hosted environment. Want to stitch on a beefy EC2 instance? With this software, you can't! All because of some sort of false idea that tethering to your camera to get a serial number would be faster/easier or more secure. (If they just hadn't disabled the text box, we could have had it both ways!)
By the way, if you do want to use the Live Mode, you first have to switch modes out of Live Mode, activate, then switch back and open Live Mode. Mind you, the only way to switch these modes is with the phone app. You can't switch these modes on the camera itself. Therefore, you get to spend several minutes getting the WiFi to work, force-quitting the app, starting it again, re-connecting, waiting for the pointless live preview to load, going into settings, checking the box for "live mode", then waiting on the camera to reboot, then plug back into the PC.
The stitching software never makes it more than a few percent in to a longer video. It seems to be just bogging down on my GPU (MX150) but my GPU is on their list as well supported. Not that it matters... the stitching results I had with photos were particularly bad. Even with the camera in the middle of a room without anything complicated in the scene, the stitching couldn't figure out basic lines on walls. Manual adjustments are available, but they didn't help. I haven't had this issue with other cameras and other software. The quality of photos is bad as well. They're the same resolution as the video. This camera isn't capable of going higher. If you don't need 3D, you'll end up with better photos off of a $65 Samsung Gear 360.
Back to Live Mode.... Once you do finally get the software activated and set up, you'll likely find Live Mode to just stop streaming and start throwing error messages at you that don't make any sense. If you hold your mouse over the error message for 5 seconds, you'll get another error message. In my case, that error made no sense either. (Ah, yes, "not enough storage" it tells me, when the PC has 1.5 TB of SSD space free, and the camera has a completely empty SD card... the card recommended by the manufacturer which has worked fine. What that error really means, I suspect, is that a buffer is full, but the messages don't say that.) I never did get Live Mode to work.
The camera and software have very few parameters that can be changed. There are a real lack of options for resolution, and frame rate. You only have a couple choices.
The battery life on this device is awful. By the time you connect to WiFi, you're already down to 90%. Within a few minutes of trying to get your software activated, down to 60%. Even if you're plugged in to your PC for Live Mode, the battery life drops. Even if you use a powered hub that can crank out a couple extra amps, the battery life still drops during usage. Even if you use an external battery pack with a reliable 2.4A USB port, the battery life still drops. Assuming this was a bad unit, I called support. They told me that they can suggest a particular USB hub that will lengthen the time it takes before the camera's battery dies. There is effectively no way to power this camera indefinitely, at least not reliably. It's difficult to use the camera while it's plugged in anyway. They designed this camera with the door to the SD card and USB port well in-view of two cameras on one side. If the door is open, you see it. I had to gaff tape it to the bottom of the camera, and then find a USB cable with a 90 degree angle. It has to be extremely flat on that side, or the cameras will pick it up.
On USB... you should know that this camera supports USB 2.0 only. Why the camera designers didn't incorporate USB-C, for the faster speed and power delivery, I don't know. If they had only done this, I suspect the device would be much more reasonable all around.
Support was sympathetic at least. They seem well aware of the problems with this camera, and were willing to talk through possible solutions. For me... there weren't any. This camera was a waste of time and money.
The software (Vuze VR Studio 3.2.6328) is buggy and crashes a lot when trying to encode the footage. This alone is a deal breaker because you need the software to convert the raw footage into standard useable formats of video.
I have not seen a firmware update since 2018 so I do not think HumanEyes is putting much energy in supporting this camera with new features or updates.
The design of the camera makes it so the 4 corners of the camera has a lot of stitching problems, especially if objects are closer than 5’.
Looking at the footage in VR (oculus rift) looks very pixelated and there is not a lot of detail in objects that are more than 15 feet away from you.
The battery is not removable and takes a long time to charge. I even tried recording while plugged into its charger and it still would drain the battery. I’ve heard one solution is to plug it into a laptop and use the vuze LIVE feature but that is not practical when you’re out in nature or on the road.
I also wanted to use this for underwater filming but the underwater case costs three times as much as the camera does, which is crazy considering what it is. I highly doubt the premium price is because the materials are so expensive.
the resolution of the final product is pretty low and grainy. The editing software that comes with it is rudimentary at best, and as of this writing, footage from this camera will not work with Final Cut Pro X (my personal favorite editor) so you're stuck with their software. To achieve true 4K spherical video, you'd have to shoot in 16K, so the world of 360 video still has a long way to go to bring the quality of picture we're used to seeing on a 4K flat screen.

OK, you're not getting a life like experiance, you're not even getting 60% of a life like experiance but what it does do is give you a video experiance unlike anything I've ever seen. Being able to go back and look at different reactions from everybody was amazing.
I wouldn't get it if you just want to film random things in nature, but if you want to capture a special moment I would strongly recommend this camera.
I had no issued using the camera or the software so not sure where those reviews are coming from.
If you're into this kind of camera I think this is the best one.
El programa de tratamiento que incluye es un poco pobre en opciones.
El cosido de la imagen a corta distancia no es muy bueno.
