The House of Love Live In Concert

The House of Love lead singer, songwriter and guitarist, Guy Chadwick, formed the group alongside Terry Bickers in 1986. Bickers acted as co-founder and lead guitarist at the time. The group rose to fame incredibly fast after the release of their first hit single, "Shine On," in 1987. The band's original lineup included drummer Pete Evans, bassist Chris Groothuizen, rhythm guitarist/co-singer Andrea Heukamp, Chadwick, and Bickers. The band was active from 1986 to 1993.There were many successes and many distractions leading up to the disbanding of The House of Love that occurred in 1993. Over the years, there were various re-releases and compilations that kept the heart of The House of Love alive. Despite originally disbanding due to differences in opinions and other personal struggles within the band; Chadwick and Bickers put their differences aside, announcing they would reunite in 2003. Together, they released their comeback album, Days Run Away in 2005. From 2012 to 2019, The House of Love completed a new studio album, traveled on intermittent tours, and celebrated the 30th anniversary of their debut album. The present-day lineup includes Chadwick, lead guitarist Keith Osborne, bassist Harry Osborne, and drummer Hugo Degenhardt. In 2022, the band also announced their first album in nine years, A State of Grace, will be released in September.

The band was all I had hoped for. Gracious and kind and sounded fantastic. One of the best shows I have ever seen.

    Offensive pre-show music

by curmudgeon on 10/18/22Gramercy Theatre - New York

Why did the DJ play at least 3 Helen Reddy songs in a row, followed by at least 3 Carpenters songs in a row? Does Live Nation think that's what fans of House of Love want to hear?

    Good venue but…

by Uwsider on 10/17/22Gramercy Theatre - New York

Loved seeing The House of Love even if only Guy was there from original band. The sound and sound engineer were terrible, which almost ruined the show.

    Worth the wait!

by ABC on 10/17/22Gramercy Theatre - New York

I’ve waited 30 years to see HOL and my expectations were exceeded. If you’re in the path of the remaining shows, by all means go! Even if you’re not in the path, go! I traveled over 1000 miles and would gladly do it again.
