This system work great!
I have watched for nearly a year at my brother-in-laws' usage of this system and finally took the plunge. I was fairly confident that I would be happy with the system after evaluating it for such a long period of time and thankfully I am. The system, app, and website works flawlessly. The image quality if great and the sound quality if phenomenal. The installation was quick and simple. The mounts that come with the system are great, especially when you need to recharge the units as they are magnetic. However, I did order aftermarket black covers and non magnetic mounts and used both types of mounts during my installation. The sound trigger is super sensitive and will pick up a pin drop. The motion trigger is less sensitive and limited in terms of distance. It appears that even with heavy usage the batteries last for 2-4 weeks. I decided to place all of my cameras outside second story windows for a multitude of reasons; including the fact that they would not be easily accessible to anyone other than myself, made for an easier installment, makes for easy access for recharging, the wide field of view garners a ton of square footage and finally they just seem to pick up motion better. Lastly, and maybe most importantly for me was the free video storage that is provided with the system. This fact alone sets the ARLO system ahead of their competitors.
