I had a 2015 mint green Schwinn Admiral and sadly you cannot find that shade of mint anymore, but this one is a suitable sub. Another review said it’s “basically white” so I never bought before, but I finally decided to take a chance and it is a lighter mint, but not white. I think that reviewer probably got one from a bad paint mix batch. I also VERY delicately removed it from the box since several folks complained of paint dings. I didn’t want to cause any dings myself. There were only 3 little spots that turned out to not be dings as I was able to clean them off with a Magic Eraser. Not sure I can say the brand, but you know bald guy on those products. There was also an unseen metal splinter that ended up about 1/4” into my thumb, but I survived. I did have to remove some little black fender flares because my feet (US size 7.5) hit the front one when turning. Schwinn didn’t think that one through, I guess. Some reviews mention “missing parts”. There was a warning label on the box or the manual (can’t recall) that warns you to check all the inner boxes for your parts. The pedals and a couple bits of hardware are in a little box. There are 2; one empty and one with your hardware. The seat isn’t super comfortable so if you are doing long rides you may want to order a bigger seat and matching 7-speed handlebar grips. Make sure the grips are “7-speed” or you won’t get the shorter one that fits the right side. Some reviews complained that the manual is not for this bike. Yes, it is. However, it is for all Schwinn hybrid models so you have to use just the sections pertaining to your part types. The handlebars are on a “quill stem” (pg 25). Brake cable are already attached so skip that section. Front wheel is “quick release” (pg 30), but fender instructions are included on pg 29. Seat is also “quick release” (pg 33). Pedals are pg 35. Super easy to put together as long as you read the manual.I also got little LED light sets for both wheels. The battery box attaches to your spokes. Bike looks like two little Ferris Wheels going down the road. It’s awesome!

I am really happy with this bike. The price, the quality, the shipping- everything. The bike was very easy to put together. Mine did not have any damage that I’ve noticed. I’ve used a hybrid for years to get around town and commute to work and decided to try the upright cruiser style. The style of the wayfarer is clean and classic. To outfit my old bike with fenders, a rear rack and kickstand was well over a hundred bucks- this bike is ready to go- I slapped on my Thule basket for my work gear and I’m good to go. Maybe it’s my age(45) but I really enjoy the upright sitting position. I won’t be winning any races but I’ve chosen comfort of speed. What’s with the rush anyway? I highly recommend this bike.
