These mailers are great! My friends have shipped things to me before in these and they hold up well. Are they perfect? No, but they do a good job.So why the low overall review score?I wanted these over other mailers to reduce the plastic waste for friends and customers. Turns out it doesn't matter anyway, because it's wrapped in unrecyclable plastic. Thought I could get these guilt-free, but turns out you still have to put some plastic in a landfill. At least your recipient won't have any guilt!Thanks, China and Amazon. :')

They are a little pricey, it would be great if the price was more comparable to the plastic bubble mailers. My only big complaint is that nowhere on them does it say they're recyclable, and I would hate for people to just trash them because there wasn't a recycle reminder.

I spent a lot of time identifying and then trying to find recycled paper, padded mailing envelopes with no plastic. I identified a brand and got a larger quantity (25) than I needed so I could ship packaging-guilt free. These have a paper honeycomb interior so not quite as sturdy as the "padded," stuffed mailers. But they are fine for my purposes. They were also shipped fast and were an affordable price.
