Royals of Valleria #3

Arianna & Finn

Rate this book
Proper Princess Arianna is the essence of style, grace, and appropriate behavior. After a disastrous love affair years ago that embarrassed both her and the royal family, she had vowed to stay on the straight and narrow, and she has. When a marriage is suggested to form an alliance with another country, she jumps at the chance for redemption; after all, she doesn’t believe in love anymore. However, if that’s true, why does she think of love whenever her fiancé’s brother, Finn, is nearby, bringing up feelings she had long since buried?

Finn de Bara cares little about strategic political alliances and, as second in line to the throne of Brazenbourg, he doesn’t have to. As the bad boy of the aristocracy, he doesn’t need to settle down; he saves that for his arrogant older brother, Henry. However, when Henry becomes engaged to Arianna for convenience and not love, he can’t help but be intrigued by a woman who would give up her future for her country. When the passionate nature she hides breaks through her prim exterior, Finn realizes he wants her and not just in bed. He knows his brother may make a more proper match, but can he convince her, and himself, to take a chance on each other despite the international fallout?

When Henry’s true motives are revealed and Arianna is placed in danger’s path, can Finn act quickly enough to help her? Or will Arianna need to save herself?

I really love this family and series. But everything happens in a week. How do you find out your pregnant within 4 days of making love? The characters have great backgrounds and the details are there. Its just so quick. Though the editing is getting better than the 1st and 2nd books.

Amazing. I love how the author can take a love story and make it to where you dont want to put it down. I love how she has thr main characters meet, fall in love and fight for the love of their life.

Brother and sister, Princess Arianna and Prince Alex are visiting the royal Kingdom of Brazenbourg, a small country nestled along the border of France. Prince Henry, ruler of the country states he has valuable information for them regarding their country, but he will only release it if Princess Arianna agrees to marry him.

Prince Henry is not very nice to his little brother Finn. Spare to the heir, Finn he has a bad reputation in the tabloids but is very much loved by his people. He has spent years being abused by his brother, yet still loves him and wants the best for him, his country and the people of his country.

When Finn meets Arianna, sparks fly and immediately the connection between the two is felt. Since his parents were killed, Finn has not felt wanted, needed or even loved so he has turned to the people of his country for his makeshift family. Arianna has spent several years feeling less than worthy, having felt like she failed the family and the Valleria name. Both have accepted their lots in life and didn't ever hold out hope of finding true love so when it hit them, it hit them hard, especially for Finn. They are two peas in a pod. They compliment each other in such a way that only soul mates can.

He would do anything to protect the woman that he loves, even risk exile from his own country!

I could not put this book down. I literally sat up half the night reading until I finally finished it. I sort of fell in love with Finn a little. He was so lonely. I felt so bad for him, but at the same time, he was SO strong and required everything it took to be a strong ruler and leader and when it came down to it, he showed everyone! Arianna was the perfect balm for his broken heart as he was hers and I know she will make the perfect Princess for her very own kingdom.

Marianna Knightly is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. She's doing a great job and each novel she writes is more....everything.....filled with beautiful characters and well thought out, complex stories. Thanks for another beautiful novel. I can't wait to see what's in store for the Valleria kingdom later in the year.

Great job!

I just want to start out with saying, the onky reason this book is getting 4 stars is because of Finn and the Vallerian family (not arianna) and the fantastic storline minus a few things. Next i want to say that I hate, hate, hate,DOUBLE HATE, Arianna. She is a weak, pathetic excuse for a human being. I have loved every charcter so far and she goes and ruins it. She was so focused on redemming herself and she bloody didn't need to anyway and screwed up even worse. She made bad mistake after bad mistake. I just wanted to reach into the book and kill her, I wished Henry did kill her. She certainty deserved to be with someone like him.
Now on to a better note.
I was totally in love with Finn. He is a true ruler and I am glad he became that in ths end. He was so kind, strong, loyal and passionate, he did not deserve to be stuck with that pathetic excuse for a human bing. Anyway apart from her and her role, I loved this book, just like the ones before it. So far Rebecca's and Alexander's story is my favourite and I look forward to reading the rest of the series. Hopefully with no more stupid characters.

I think the real highlight of this story, apart from Arianna & Finn, is the startling difference between the two families. As in the real world, I don't believe any two families are alike. In this comparison, the Royals of Valleria have appeared to be a excellent family to be a part of. It has been hinted about, but we see here, there have been and continue to be some problems beneath the teasing, smiles and overall good vibes.

I really enjoyed this book! I loved the two main characters--they were similar in so many ways and I really understood their connection. I just loved Finn, and he really made the story for me!

My only complaint was the "big news" at the end. It felt a bit rushed and contrived to me. Overall, I did enjoy this book and look forward to the next one!

Princess Arianna goes on a royal trip with her brother Prince Alexander. Prince Henry wants to marry her in return for some information about who wants to destroy Valleria. Princess Arianna thinks if she agrees it will make up for some choices she made when she was younger. But she is attracted to Prince Finn, Henry younger brother.

Lots of drama, lots of x-rated love scenes

I liked this book better than the others. Still interested in the characters so I'll keep reading. I do like that the author sprinkles in signs of the other couples so they're not completely forgotten after their book. I hope that continues.

I knew this book was going to follow every romance trope and it didn't disappoint. Normally I stay away from this style because it's just too cutesy but the first few pages showed characters with internal conflict due to their pasts which made me interested in how they would overcome and find love in each other. Unfortunately the character development never got off the ground and by the end the leads were tropes. Only read this if you enjoy fan fiction about contemporary princesses.
