Really enjoying the RHA's after just 24 hours of play. I've put a variety of music thru them (rock, metal, blues, hip hop, jazz, r&b, classical, and spoken word) and I'm pleasantly surprised at how balanced these are for sub $30 buds. The bass and treble are a bit over-pronounced, but still within my acceptable ranges for listening. Guitar focused music sounds amazing. I spent some time listening to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Gary Clark, Jr and was amazed at how good they sounded through these buds. One last note about the sound of these buds...The cable is well designed to reduce microphonics. I walk my dog all the time while listening to podcasts or music. Earbuds with cheap cabling cause all kinds of rustling as the cable moves against my clothes. These RHAs do NOT have that problem. The bottom half of the cord - before the splitter - is covered in a woven protective fabric that completely removes any rustle. The top half is coated in the usual rubber, but is thick enough not to cause any rustle. This means i hear my music when walking...not cord microphonics.

So, the sound is very good...incredible at this price point. The next question is how they fit. I've tried all kinds of buds and I tend to prefer small and light. I don't like the kind that wrap over your ear, or the kind that have huge bass ports that end out hurting your ears after more than an hour of listening. The RHAs, I'm happy to report, are small and unobtrusive. After 5 minutes you forget they are there. There are included ear tips to change sizes. I found the default worked perfectly for me...no slippage and decent noise isolation. Keep in mind...these are passive noise isolation, so some noise can seep through at low volumes. However, considering how loud these buds can get, you likely won't notice much.

How's the build quality? The aluminum housings seem very well designed. I already mentioned the cable covers are good. I'll report back after a few weeks/months of wearing these every day to see how they hold up, but thus far I'm very impressed with the attention to small details on these buds. The aluminum is smooth w/out burrs and the cable connections seem sturdy and well protected.

Overall, I love these new buds. I'm always looking for <$50 ear buds because I use them so much that the normal wear and tear means I go through a few sets every year. I wear them at work...while walking my dog...in the gym...just about 6 - 8 hours a day. That's a lot of use, so any buds that can last 3 - 6 months - to me - are really good buds. That being said, I don't like to sacrifice sound quality, which is where these RHAs come in. I'm really digging how they sound. I'm listening to James Brown as I write this, and the growl in his voice, the groove of the bass, and the blare of the trumpets is crystal clear. If you're looking for earbuds to really get into your music, these can't be beat at this price.

    UPDATE Jan 2019
Still using these again headphones 5 months later and they aren't still in great shape. I use them daily and carry them around in my pocket without a case. I can't believe they are this durable and sounds this good. I'm an RHA fan now! Highly recommended.

excellent and extremely comfortable earbuds for audiophiles in this price range. Or even higher price ranges.

Bass boost: As described, the bass is a bit boosted, but reasonably so. It is not unbalanced boost like so many are. If it is still too much for your taste, a bit of eq will take care of it.

I listen without any eq and these are about the best buds I have heard until one gets into above $100 range, and even then these keep up pretty well. The bass is also tight and deep, not boomy or muddy. And the super crucial midrange is precise while upper mids are velvety smooth without being “dark”. Treble is great but never sibilant or harsh (except on bad recordings/low quality mp3 rates when these buds will reveal the weakness of the source material).

On top of that these are the most comfortable and earbuds I have ever had at any price. Much of this seems down to the silicone ear tips/flanges, which are MUCH higher quality than one would expect. They are also pretty distinctive from any other standard silicon ear tips in that the center tube is very hard, almost almost rigid, while the flanges that conform to the ear canal are extremely soft and supple (the softest I have ever used in fact). This combo allows the flange to conform to the shape of the ear canal and create a great seal (which is ESSENTIAL for any earbud) without squeezing or pinching the inner tube and therefore distorting or attenuating the sounds. And it does this with very little pressure applied to the ear canal. And you don’t have to Jam them deep into the ear canal or fiddle to get a good seal or differences between left and right ears. My left and right ear canals, like many others , are a bit different from each other, often requiring different ear tips for each and/or making it hard to get a good fit/seal on one or the other side. Not these. No issue at all. 10 hour plane flight? No problem. No soreness etc. ok, some other earbuds and tips I have used block out more external noise, but always at the price of comfort and/or ease of insertion (I’m looking at you Etymonic and Bose, and any comply foam tip on any ear bud) after two months of use, the eartips have not deformed (squashed), ripped, yellowed, gunkef up etc at all. I simply love these eartips, and on earbuds the ear tips are crucial to sound quality.

As a result I reach for these more often than any of my other often note pricy earbuds. And at this price, I don’t have to stress about handling or loosing them etc.

The company is an established audio brand, from the U.K. I think, but not widely known and recently relaunched and new to the earbud/portable market, i understand.

FWIW, I do think the brand is from the U.K. at least originally and these earbuds do exhibit a distinctively British audiophile sound quality/signature. If you are an audiophile type you likely know what that means: accurate but with warmth. Coherence and textures of timber; neither lush (sennheiser, grado to lesser extent ) nor hyper crisp/ detailed (klipsch, etymonic, beyerdynamic high ohm models) clear midrange with a smidgen of dip in the “presence” frequency region that lends a slightly holographic sound stage and smooths harshness in treble.

If you have ever heard a quality Spendor speaker, mission, or KEF driven by a Arcam , Quad etc , integrated amp ( or old school ultra high end Luxman from the 1970s) you know the sonic signature.

Don’t get me wrong, these don’t reach such levels of sonic nirvana, but they seem to have been engineered/tuned with those qualities in mind. At least more than any other earbud I have tried.

Some AKG earbuds have a similar sound signature.

These look fantastic, and sounded good. They did not sound tinny like so many earbuds do these days. Although they're a good value for the money, they actually don't sound better than the $7 earbuds sold by Panasonic. They also don't have quite as much low end, though only when compared side by side. One advantage of these is the jack has adequate length to reach through many protective cases, where the Panasonic sometimes has troubles fully seating depending on design of case. Overall a solid value.

I purchased these earbuds about 8 months ago for daily use at work and at the gym. In general, they're decent. The material is nice for the price - the aluminum body doesn't feel as cheap as many of the similarly priced plastic earbuds. The sound quality was alright (i.e. bass existed even if it wasn't earthshaking, no tinny quality to music, okay sound isolation). It wasn't anything to rave about, but it was on par with or better than other $30 earbuds I've tried. After about 6 months, the microphone/controller stopped working, and soon after the left earbud started cutting out randomly based on the position of the cord before breaking entirely. I still used them for a couple more months because the right headphone was still functional and hey, maybe it was a good thing that I could pay attention to my surroundings while jogging. However, this past week they kicked the bucket after 8 months of use. I believe it was probably from regular exposure to sweat and getting caught in a drizzle a couple of times, although most other headphones I've used have been alright for working out with unless I just dunked them in the pool or something. Overall, I wouldn't buy these again, but if you're not going to be sweating a lot while wearing these, go for it.

I've read a review on these pair of earbuds on a review site, and I thought why not to trying it.
I find that they're small, but comfortable, and give off a nice bass and sound.
I'll give my list of Pros and Cons below.

    Pros:
    - Well built quality for the price, looks great, and is comfortable to wear
    - Braided cable where the wire starts to lead to the jack, and has a straight angle jack
    - The Inline Control is nice on these earbuds
    - Good volume range and nice bass range for earbuds
    - 3 years of warranty

    Cons:
So far with my experience, I've found that the highs could be better, but are alright.

Overall, currently these are currently my favourite earbuds yet, and I feel that it does very well for the price.

This is a good earphone I'd say. Recieved em yesterday (ofcourse delivery was lightning fast than I expected). The quality is mind-blowing (it's imported and the best if quality)
Now talking about the sound effects : highly well Balence with pretty nice and punchy good bass. (Idk why the guys are saying it's got less bass. Do they need only bass and no vocals or treble at all?).

I've owned cx180, cx275, a JBL ..... TBH this one has a step ahead of the sound of cx275 (which is god like) and the build quality is the best! There is also a clip provided along with carry pouch. I find it great use , even can clip the wire to my underwear to make sure it's not disturbing me.

    Talking about wire quality:
It's not actually a plastic wire. It's some sort of fibre, which they claim tangle free. But it tangles pretty well if we'll mixed (like mixing sugar and water)
I don't know if they can withstand water splashes so.. can't know if they can be used in gym. Mic is wonderful.

-gommini in-ear comodi e soprattutto non si staccano (non si perdono!)
L'unica pecca del prodotto è che non è particolarmente insonorizzante..
    Molto soddisfatto!
