--It’s been four (4) months since the Red Team began their investigation in Wyoming----

For those that have read this series, this is the installment we all have been waiting for: 1) Val, who is a sweetheart and deserves true love; 2) The mystery of the Omni World Order (OWO) is unwinding and with an explanation of its origins and players.

Ms. Levine always includes all the members of the team in every installment. For that I am grateful because after all we buy series because we want to know about the characters that have become “book” family. This is Valentino (Val) Parker and Ace Myers story who we have met in previous installments.

Ace is still a mystery since we don’t really know who she is. Is she the female that has been place inside the Red Team that OWO stated? They said someone with a butterfly and we found out in previous book that she has a large butterfly tattoo on her back. This book explains all of those questions and more.

Val has wanted to get Ace to trust him for a while now, but Ace doesn’t trust anyone. Val understands that he must not box Ace in and make her feel trapped so he gives her space, for now. As Val shows her another side of life, one with a team that will help her so she doesn’t have to do this alone, she may be letting down a few walls and maybe even trust Val, a little.

A surprise is exposed: 1) Owen and someone he loved and lost through death, or so he thought, is revealed. 2) Who Ace really is and we find out that she has connections on the Red Team that no one knew about, not even Ace. 3) Val finds out about his family's involvement in the "original" OWO and how the OMO changed into something sinister.

Don’t miss this wonderful installment. You are pulled into the story on page 1 and will not be able to put it down until the very last page. YES, it is that good. Add the HOT HOT Steamy Passion and you have one of the best Military Romance Series you can find.

The complexities of the investigation are slowly starting to unravel, the team members beginning to find out how they are connected to ONI. Ace has spent her life in the tunnels, she has suffered abuse until she found the means to leave. Val as well has found some surprises along the way, as well as falling for Ace. So many twists and turns, surprises both good and bad. This whole series is a complete roller coaster of mystery, suspense and thrills. It keeps you wanting to dive straight into the next book each time you finish one, its edgy and almost has a thriller aspect with the silos and tunnels which are enough to creep you out if you are sensitive to that sort of thing. The group has detoured so far from what they were originally formed to do, they are definitely more evil and almost cult like now. They feel they are above the law and can do what they like, persecute who they like. Ace is sassy, smart and a killer made so by the treatment she received. Val is loving, protective and if letting her go means he gets even just a little of her then that's what he will do. This series is amazing, such a fantastic tale to enthrall and captivate. It holds your attention completely you don't want to miss any little snippet in case it is important, it has certainly given me some late nights reading until I finish a book and so tempting to immediately start the next. Well worth reading this series but be warned you need to start at the beginning and read in order until the end.

I started the series back when there was only 1 book in the series and it was the first time I rated any book or item. I'm not going to write a synopsis of the book as you have that available. My comment back then was that I loved the book and had only held off because the cover just looked hokey. Now having read all the books I will tell you this - It's a great series. Well written and will provide you with entertainment for days. Keeping in mind that the books are written for that cause, I can also tell you that even the hokey covers offer something for everyone. I only gave it 4 stars because the story line is missing something that the previous books had. It's still a great book though. Also I highly recommend reading the books in order and now that the series is 8 books in your won't have the frustrating wait between books. I always looked forward to the next book and as a whole the series is superb!

Wow......Val and Ace's book was everything I thought it would be! This book continued immediately at the end of Rocco and Mandy's novella and it was perfect. There were so many turns in this one that I was pleasantly surprised. I love Elaine's writing style and she didn't disappoint with this one. As usual, when I reach the end of a book in this series, I was disappointed because now I have to wait until the next installment. Of course, that's not a bad thing but the selfish reader in me wants instant gratification.

Val and Ace are perfect for each other and I loved how they came together. Val has always been this outspoken, metrosexual, smoking hot red teamer and he was a total game changer in this book. I have always loved his sense of humor in prior books, and it was here, but at a more discreet level. He absolutely adores Ace and it shows, being so supportive of her even at the expense of his own heart. It just shows how strong and unselfish of a man Val is. And Ace.......that poor girl - you just wanted to hug her over and over. The time they spend together is amazing, sexy hot and very loving (think Pink *snickers*).

This book was also full of interesting information regarding the Omni organization and it's ramping up to something cataclysmic. Owen, what are we going to do with you? After reading the last page, I immediately started to try and figure out how this is going to end and I just couldn't. Yes, we'll just have to wait. All I know is that it's going to be good. Thanks Elaine for another fantastic book in this series.

This book is one hell of a journey, not least for Val and Ace, but for the whole team. The OWO represents all that is bad in the world and seemingly the Red Team are getting closer to the elusive, evil King.

Ace has been to hell and back, she's a woman on a mission and can't afford to trust anyone. No one can get in her way, until her path collides with Val who exudes a light she can't deny. There are some heartbreaking moments as she questions his motives, her reasons completely understandable given her past. Val is just a beautiful, patient man, who despite his own demons can't let her go on alone.

There is Intrigue, suspense, action, pain, fear, twists and underlining it all......love. I'd been looking forward to this book for a long time and it didn't disappoint, questions were answered but there are now a whole lot of new ones! Can't wait for the next installment in this brilliant series

This is not a standalone but part of a series I would highly recommend to anyone who loves powerful love stories mixed with strong characters and a plot which grows with each new book. Just when you think you have figured it out something new is thrown into the mix.

I have always loved Val's character, The joker of the pack, but he is so much more. For me he is the heart of the Red team so I was glad he was the main focus of this book. Ace is perfect for him. Her tragic story has turned her into a prickly cactus and for once he has to work hard to get his woman.

The story is by no means over and now we wait for Angel's book next. I hope it won't be too long before I can once again lose myself in the dangerous world of the Red team.
