Capturing all the sonic excitement of low-frequency effects without taking up valuable floor space, the rw-5802-ii in-wall subwoofer is certainly a force to be reckoned with. When combined with the rsa-500 dedicated subwoofer amplifier this hard-hitter perfectly anchors an architectural home theater or two-channel system.

Sounds great. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars ...
Sounds great. The only reason this doesn’t get 5 stars is because the gold cones show through the grill at certain angles, even after painting and reinstalling the fabric backing. The purpose of in-walls is to be discreet, but the gold reflecting through screams, “Hey! See my gold cones! I’m a Klipsch.” Meh. We’ll put a plant in front of it.
Easy to install, and great sound. Be warned, though, that you will probably want to reinforce the sheetrock! The bass vibrations will cause standard sheetrock-on-stud construction to quickly start making unwanted rattles and buzzes. I had to caulk all the seams and add thin strips of wood under the speaker housing clamps in order to quiet the wall.
