Product Description
Dragonball Z: Burst Limit is the first game of the Dragonball Z series to hit the Xbox 360 console. The game features detailed graphics and dramatic, seamless battles, expected from a next generation console. The plans are to have characters and movement reminiscent of the animation, and high-intensity battles.
During each battle, find conditions to create new dramatic scenes. After the battles, watch a unique story unfold each time you play. There is also a stronger element of offense and defense, due to added energy saving and fighting techniques. Features:
- Online Feature - Competition grows with the ability to play online in both the co-op and vs. modes.
- Unique DBZ Story -During each battle, find conditions to create new scenes and watch a unique story unfold at the end of each game.
- Higher Quality Gaming - Experience visuals and movement reminiscent of the anime due to Z3 shading technology and detailed effects.
- High Intensity battles - Increased speed of charge and release on the field, free movement around the field, and increased speed and power of attacks.
- Energy - Use of special skills will no longer drain energy. The lower your energy, the stronger you get, making for a possible turnaround of the battle.
- Fatal Blow - Each character in the game has their own "Fatal Blow". If the player successfully attacks his opponent, this would be a finishing move, but if not, it will put the player in the disadvantageous situation, and he must battle with no "Fatal Blow" for the rest of the battle.

Where this game had it's faults I do give it respect for bringing the good things this game did to Infinite World on the PS2, but hate it for being short and uninspired.
The ki meter is there but doesn't matter. It's only used for unleashing your ultimate attack, which means you can spam your ki blasts or super attacks all you want.
Another issue is the use of in battle cutscenes, team member interruptions, and quicktime events.
The real icing on the cake was the melee system. Yea it still all works the same, but instead of the Y or Triangle button being used for kick attacks it creates a half-assed combo, and it's the same story for the X(360) and Square buttons, which means custom combos have been cut in half and lacks the fuidity of the characters controls.
I won't talk about how it's story ends at the Cell Saga as many fans believe that should've been the real ending of the series, but instead I will talk about environments. You can launch your opponents into the sky which is cool, but it happens every single match which means you barely ever get to see the beautifully sculpted stages which is a real bummer because where the character's got an amazing graphic overhaul, so did the terrain.
I do however really like the character customization feature in the VS mode. In past Budokai games you could only increase the health bar, and in some you can increase the AI to give you a challenge, but in Burst Limit you can customize the AI, health bar, attack power, and defense power which means you could play as long or little as you'd like.
If you get bored but want to keep the vibe going, I recommend going to VS mode, selecting Broly and Nappa, putting there health bar, AI, and defense to the max and their attack to the minimum. It makes for an entertaining and decisively intense battle between the 2 biggest characters in the game.
another thing I like is if you Play as Vegeta and use Goku as his assist, Goku will cheer on Vegeta while he gets pissed off at him for doing so.
