Based on this, I can say that this bag is definitely useful and versatile, as long as you know what you're getting yourself into when you buy it. The design is a little dated.
I caught it on sale, and even at normal price this is one of the most affordable convertible luggages I can find here on Amazon.
For that price, you're getting a good quality, perfectly usable, and fairly basic set of bags.
First up: Pockets.
This is easily the High Sierra's weakest link, but some packing cubes and pocket sleeves can solve some of this.
The main roller has two storage areas. Three, if you include the hideout for the shoulder straps.
The spacious main area has no subdivisions. (A trend you'll see often here.)
A front pouch can hold things like papers, however is covered by the day-bag when in zipped-together mode.
The daypack has a total of five pockets.
The largeish main pouch has no subdivisions for things like laptop or tablet pouches. Just throw your stuff in there and have fun. The top zipper is a little inconvenient for getting bulky things like laptops in and out.
There's a small top zipper area that finds extensive use from me for tiny trinkets, like laptop dongles and thumbdrives. It intrudes on the main area.
The front pocket is the only thing on this entire bag with subdivisions. It can hold a pretty decent amount of stuff.
The "administrative sorting" area has a paperwork pocket, a covered device pocket - it can carry my hotspot, but my Blackberry Priv smartphone sticks out, three pen holders, a small open pocket, and a smaller zippered pocket. A key clip rounds out the accessories in here.
The two bottle holders on the side CAN fit a 20oz soda, but it's a tight fit, and they intrude into the main pouch to do so. You won't be fitting bottles into a tightly packed daypack.
Convertible Modes:
Of all the different ways you could use a set of convertible 2-piece luggage, the only mode this one doesn't support is "Kangaroo". It supplements this by natively supporting "stacked" mode.
The daypack's backpack straps are nice enough. Mine was open box and did not include the phone holder that goes on your shoulder strap. Water under the bridge, I can always buy one separately that fits my phone, or attach my holster.
The roller's shoulder straps for backpack mode are ... less nice enough. They're just kinda stuffed in there, and don't have very much padding. With no ergonomic design features, I wouldn't want to use this mode with a fully loaded tandem mode bag for very long, but it's useful to keep control of the bag while you're helping someone with their luggage at baggage claim.
Build Quality:
I strapped the thing to my bicycle in tandem roller mode and hauled it behind myself for a solid five miles.
It had very few problems with the trip, though it did put some wear on the wheel bearings.
I only even recently had my first problem with it, the zipper that holds the daypack on started to unravel a little.
The wheels are not supported on the outside. This could possibly create issues if the bag is hauled while loaded heavily over a long distance, or while being flung around by baggage handlers when checked.
The overall design looks and feels rugged enough though, and I would trust this bag set on a major vacation.
As for how many major vacations it could handle? Only time will tell.
Cons: After only a couple of days of using this bag and not much "exposure" to the elements of the European world, the netting on my book bag ripped. But, after using it for two months, the netting hasn't gotten any worse. My boyfriend's is still in great condition (minus a little wear and tear). Secondly, this bag would also benefit from having an easier way of attaching the book bag to the actual suitcase. It was a little difficult and frustrating at times to connect the book bag to the suitcase, especially if you were in a hurry. HOWEVER, I feel the zipper prevents it from theft, because during our travels I heard of someone losing their book bag attachment to a thief. The thief unhooked it and ran off, just as the metro doors were closing, and the bag had all their important stuff in it. Thirdly, this bag is NOT an acceptable carry on item for the airline EasyJet. We found that out the hard way. You can only take one personal item with you onboard (the book bag), and it was too big for the overhead if they were attached together. But it is an acceptable carry on size for the bigger US airlines (specifically Delta).
The Pros: This bag withstood so much. It was rolled over cobblestone, down stairs, in gravel, etc. Thrown onto trains, metros, planes, etc., and it is still going strong. The bag is small, but that means we packed less and it was easier to walk up several flights of stairs and from point a to point b. In my suitcase, I packed (using the rolling method), four pairs of jeans (one of them being a pair of my boyfriend's jeans), a pair of leggings, 4 short sleeve shirts, 6 long sleeve shirts, a pair of sandals, a pair of ballet flats, 6 pairs of socks, 7 pairs of undies, two skirts, a shower bag with shower items, hair bands, a bra, 4 scarves, a belt, and one full bathing suit. Oh, and I had some room for small souvenirs. Please keep in mind that I wear sizes small to medium. In my book bag, I was able to fit my laptop and cover, a small scrapbook, makeup bag, and some other small necessities. My boyfriend was able to pack two pairs of jeans, one pair of shorts, two pairs of sleeping shorts, 2 long sleeve shirts, 6 small sleeve shirts, a pair of go walk shoes, 6 pairs of socks and boxers, a shower bag with shower items, a pair of dress pants and a button up long sleeve shirt, PJ pants, and long johns (shirt and bottoms). He used the roll method also and wears a large to X-large. In his book bag he was able to pack two rain jackets, two bag cover ups, and several chargers. I loved how the bags could turn into one big book bag, but honestly, we just rolled them everywhere. They are small bags but seemed to be able to fit a lot.

Recomendada 100%
It fits perfectly for WOW Air as carry on.
