My wife was bitten by a centipede in the middle of the night, and we weren't able to sleep in our bedroom the remainder of the night fearing that the little bas***d would reappear and bite (really hurts) again. The next morning I searched the internet for a fogger that exterminated centipedes. Hard to find one, but I noticed in our local hardware store another brand of insecticide (not a fogger) that claimed to kill centipedes. Turns out that Raid contains the same insecticide. I decided to give Raid a try, but feared that 1) the centipede may no longer be in our bedroom, or 2) it would be killed, but we wouldn't know for sure due to it's dying in a deep crevice of a drawer, etc.. Either way- we were afraid we'd never know, and wouldn't be able to sleep well. Four hours after the fogging, we returned to our bedroom and found the little bas***d dead, out in the open, on our bathroom floor! Thank you Raid Fogger!
I had a very serious roach infestation. I decided to do a whole redo of my apartment, which included getting rid of these pesky bugs that try to live here without paying rent. So I read the reviews, took into account everything that i needed to completely eradicate the problem and went to work. I set off 6 bombs in my 2-bedroom apartment, came back 4 hours later to a roach-corpse-filled apartment. The ones that didn't die were "stuck-on-stupid" on the walls (they didn't move... they were just there as if paralyzed), so I killed them the old fashioned way (slipper-slap!) and started cleaning. I must've swept the floors dozens of times during the next few days because they just kept on dying! I still see a few that are bold enough to come out (especially since they tried to hide in any hidden spaces they could find), but that's ok, bc I already have an arsenal of other things put down to make sure the rest of them don't have long to live, such as gels and baits.
I hope I can get them all out, but this fogger did a great job at giving me a huge boost at killing them all.
Against the advice of Experts as found in online research for eradication of Bed Bugs, I used Foggers every 2-3 weeks for several months as one Part of My Epic Battle with apparent Success. I am highly allergic to the bits of these bugs & have thankfully been bite free for several months now. Mattress & Box Spring Covers are in place, A bit of Diatomaceous Earth is still lightly dusted around the perimeter & I still spray the furniture lightly with Green Easy every week or so as an added precaution. Being "allergic" to Bed Bug BITES I was desperate to be rid of them & Raid was my final step in finishing the bugs off. We have had No Further Evidence in months so I am cautiously optimistic that we have won. I suggest that anyone who has any indication of Bed Bugs Battle Them Immediately Using Everything You can afford and continue to fight further infestation for several months. The Bed Bugs can "hibernate" for months without feeding so be prepared for a Real Battle and don't give up. I used Foggers throughout the Entire House repeating treatment to be sure there was No Place Left To Hide (or hibernate). After just over six months with No further indication, no sightings nor bites, I am remain cautiously optimistic.
I use the Raid concentrate in my hobby room, my music room and my garage once a year. It takes about six cans to clean out the bugs in those rooms on my property. I even had a spider breakout in my car and I put one can in the car which killed the spiders with one application. I remember years ago when a bee hive broke out in my chimney and they fell into the fire place. fortunately the fireplace was sealed and most of the bees were buzzing in the fire place. I set off one bug bomb and threw it in the fireplace and walked away. It did a good job killing the bees. what one did get into my living room as they went for the sunlight, I used the regular House and Garden RAID to kill the bees. I don't take a chance with bees these days given killer bees have mixed with hour honey bees in California these days. These bug bombs have saved my life when I needed them in the most unexpected places. All the more I bought some fresh ones off of Amazon to get ready for summer.
I live in a tiny 300 sq ft studio in los angeles. Recently have had somw roached coming in through pipes etc., and despite keeping all drains closed at all times, theu kust kept getting in. I let off two of these over night. when i came back the next day, i saw a few roaches crawling up the walls; odd behaviour, but, certainly not dead. There were dead bodies, anywhere, nor have i found any in the following several days. None. Not one. Three days later and the problem is basically exactly the same, except now I have pesticides in my home that are probably not great for me, but dont seem to bother then.
Despite doing two in such a tiny space, its apparantly had zero effect. So ... guess they dont work. They dont seem to kill the ones that are already lurking around, and they definitely do nothing to keep them out.
The can size is so small and not sufficient for small bed room. Only suitable for small toilets or bath. Waste of money. I would not buy this again. Price is ripoff
