About Jasmine Thompson

Pop singer Jasmine Thompson was 10 when she began posting videos online of herself singing cover songs. • Thompson self-released her debut album, Bundle of Tantrums, in 2013, along with a string of cover-song singles. One of them was a version of “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)” by Chaka Khan and Rufus, which rose to No. 32 on the UK singles chart and was featured in a supermarket ad campaign. • In 2015, DJ Felix Jaehn’s remix of “Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better)” was a hit across Europe, reaching No. 1 in three countries. • Several of Thompson’s covers have appeared in movie trailers and TV promos, including “Everybody Hurts” (the BBC serial EastEnders) in 2014 and “Mad World” (the Ewan McGregor film American Pastoral) in 2016. • Thompson co-wrote Selena Gomez’s song “Kinda Crazy,” which appeared on the pop star’s 2020 album Rare.
