PLEASE do NOT waste your money! This is absolutely riddled with mistakes. The instructions on one of the practice tests says to correct the underlined parts of the sentence and yet not a single problem contains any underlining! Unbelievable! I have never seen a book so poorly done. The same questions are given over and over again with slightly different wording. What a shame.

With the accuplacer test each person test will be different. This book just like any other study guide for the accuplacer is a study guide to help you brush up on topics you have not even though of since high school. I know that personally I don’t use algebra or integers in my daily life. (Well until my kids get that far in their homeschooling). I have been stressing since I found out that for my generals classes I need at least a 78 on the test for college. This book has taken away a lot of the stress. Everything is laid out and that will be covered in the test. It is better to know how to do it and not have to use it then not know it and get a bad score costing you way more for your college career. This book gives clear examples and if there is more then one way to solve a problem they also give those examples. I love how there is a gap from the side so that you can take notes. I highlight the bold or key and then rewrite in my words or short summary so if there is somewhere I need to go back and look at it I don’t have to go through all the reading again. In the side margins there is also helpful note. This is also helpful in the learning process. I am so glad this is not set up like most study guides and helps you move through and transition from each topic. This book has already helped more for me then any of the online study guides and tests I have found online. I will be taking my test in about a month or so here. I am so excited and now I feel a little more prepared for what is to come on the test. I am already testing out better on practice online test and test in the book since reviewing with this book. This is for sure a good study guide to get and will help you for your accuplacer test for college. I receive a free sample of this book.
