Guadalajara is a beautiful city but as women travelling together we didn’t feel safe. Most people don’t speak English so have to use translation apps. Try and speak a bit of Spanish.
Beware of taxis and Ubers. Some in our party were picked up by Uber and robbed and left to get back themselves. The metro is easy to use.

A big city to explore the multiple beautiful towns near by.
A big city to explore the multiple beautiful towns near by. Most of the attractions here are in the historic center while most of the dining and entertainment is located in the Chapultepec neighborhood. Again Guadalajara is an excellent base for day trips the towns of Tequila, Ajijic, and the Chapala lake and of course Tlaquepaque.

Easy to get around. Interesting history.
Easy to get around. Interesting history. Lots of nearby towns and places to visit. I enjoyed a walking tour of the city, a day trip to Guachimontones (very interesting and unique ruins with circular pyramids) and a day of tequila tasting and tour of the Jose Cuervo Distillery in the city of Tequila.

This is my second visit to Guadalajara.
This is my second visit to Guadalajara. We stayed for 3 nights in Guadalajara. One in Central Guadalajara and 2 in Tlaquepaque.
The first night we went to Bruna Restaurant (modern Mexican) great food recommend. We then shopped in Andares mall. The next 2 nights were in Tlaquepaque, great place to wander around and see artisan, local products. We also drove to Tonala as I was looking especially for Mexican tile, Tonala cheaper than Tlaquepaque. But Tlaquepaque more picturesque and walkable.

Guadalajara is undeniably an intriguing city.
Guadalajara is undeniably an intriguing city. It boasts stunning historical landmarks, but also exhibits a significant number of deteriorated buildings. The culinary scene is exceptional, with a plethora of delightful restaurants to explore. There's no shortage of attractions, making it a unique destination worthy of at least a two-day visit.

The stunning architecture and walkable area with fountains, restaurants, shops, activities like karaoke, accessible churches, pleasant weather, and of course the very friendly, polite Mexican people. Saw a few people sleeping on street but much fewer than I see in Portland, Oregon. I’m glad I got to visit. The surrounding countryside with mountains and agave fields also lovely.
This was a great hotel to stay and explore Guadalajara for some days. Their driver waited for me while my flight was delayed and was very helpful. The reception despite late hours was very accommodating and friendly. They gave me a room to the inside, which at first seemed uncomfortable but turned out to be the most quiet one due to outside discotheques.
The reception and concierges were excellent, advised well on safety matters and helped organising a day tour.
Breakfast in the adjusting restaurant was quiet and tasty.
Great hotel, really nice and clean. Really good service. Nice and big rooms well equipped. Great breakfast and breakfast area. Perfect hotel to stay if you participate to congresses or exhibitions at EXPO Guadalajara. For tourist stay a little bit far from the center of the city. On the map it looks close, but with traffic in Guadalajara it takes much longer to get from the hotel to the city center. There is not a lot of restaurant or bars in the area. Perfect hotel to stay during your business trip.
Amazing rooms, super spacious and comfy. The pool is small but also really nice, because of COVID they were booking one person at a time for it, so I had it all for myself. The staff was also amazing, super friendly, and would always do what it takes to help. Last but not least, the location is simply perfect, close to everything. This hotel is definitely the one I'm staying at next time I go to Guadalajara.
The room was spacious and it was easy to stay cool without the AC unit. The bathroom was very large. The bed was very clean and comfortable. TV in the bedroom was large and nice. The restaurant was convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was easy to get an airport taxi directly to the hotel, and the hotel helped me book a taxi back to the airport.
The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had lots of hot water. Air conditioning was good. The location was right in the heart of the centro historico and very convenient for walking around that part of town. The staff was friendly and English was spoken by some. I only used the restaurant for breakfast, and it was good.
I've stayed a few times for one-night stopovers. Heading somewhere in Mexico. I find it best to reserve a week in advance. They have two quick taco puestos/restaurants three minutes walk. And a half dozen more restaurants a 15 to 20 min walk. The area is a famous Guadalajara landmark - called the nine-corners and is fabulous for foodies.
Me and my girlfriend stayed for a night while we were exploring some areas around Guadalajara hotel was clean no complaints there we enjoyed our stay we arrived and had dinner in there restaurant in the hotel food was delicious we were able to store our luggage while we were out and enjoying the city then gave us a shuttle to the airport
This is a lovely hotel in central Guadalajara. Our room and the hallways around it were spotlessly clean, everything polished to perfection. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower. Easy parking on the ground level. A short walk to either the main plaza or in the other direction to Col. America.
What was neat about this property is the quietness. I enjoyed the ambiance of the location. It was conveniently located to the centro of Guadalajara. Staff were all very friendly which made it enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this property!
Location super convenient to attractions in Zona Centro. Easy walk from L3 Guadalajara Centro station. Breakfast that included fruits and probiotic drink a wonderful surprise. Nice atmosphere inside hostel. Will definitely stay there again.
One Guadalajara Centro Hotel is in a main city of all the Cathedral’s. The room was very clean with fresh towels, and everyday housekeeping. Provided breakfast was really good and I am happy with overall stay.
Perfect, location for a safe area of Guadalajara with nice restaurants around and a good vibe
Definitely a good place to stay and feel the Hygge atmosphere in the middle of Mexico
The hotel was close to the Centro bus station and the cathedral and every kind of shopping!
We loved the old Mexican boutique style of the Hotel!
Staff was and helpful.
The room was nice and tidy, very clean. The hotel is in at an excellent location in the centro within walking distance to nice restaurants and the main sights.
