A new adversaryThe Evil Twinshas invaded Crashs island paradise with plans of destruction. In a strange twist, Crash grudgingly pairs with his archenemy, Dr. Cortex in order to save the world. Through this unorthodox partnership, Cortex is abused as Crashs favorite weapon when Crash and Cortex are controlled as one. Additionally, this dynamic paired gameplay will include never-before-seen mechanics which also include cooperative level designs in which Crash must protect Cortex and vice-versa, albeit reluctantly!

I've purchased this game not too long ago. I've received this item in the mail, inserted the disc into my PS3, and waited for it to load as usual but... it froze during the loading process. This game is a new copy, factory sealed, not imported, or a fake. I had an old copy a long time ago and it had a crack on the disc that is understandable why it didn't work then, but this? This is a new copy and it should work. My PS3, can play PS1, 2, and 3 games. It can play all of my other Crash, and Sonic games, it's only this one game it can not read. No, it's not my disc drive it works fine. I don't know what can be causing the problem. I mean it's a good game but it just refuses to work.
As lovable and frustrating as any Crash game. I got hooked on this game and was disappointed when it ended. Seeing modernized versions of Dingodile, Tiny Tiger, N. Gin, and the others made me feel like a child again.
Excellent game. One of the most challenging I have ever played. A very excellent designed game. I rated it a four star because of the difficulty as sometimes it becomes quite difficult and the fun can disappear. The one real negative thing is the download. Takes quite a bit of time. I love the Crash games but this one seems to be the most difficult... I would recommend to anyone who enjoys a great challenge...
I am a 90s kid. I was raised on Crash Bandicoot and Spyro since I picked PS1 over N64. I love the original games, but I am not a purist. I've finally got my hands on a PS2 (I skipped ps2 in favour of a Gamecube and Wii, and was sad when I found out my PS3 couldn't play PS2 games) and am starting to get into the Legend of Spyro and post Naughty Dog era Crash Bandicoot games.
This game is buggy and unfinished (there's a lot of content that never made it to the final game), but it's probably one of my favourite of the post Naughty Dog games. The acapella soundtrack, courtesy of Spiralmouth, gives a unique feeling to the game, and the visuals, while not the best, are cute and cartoony.
The humour can be a bit immature, so it's not for everyone. I enjoyed it, at least.
The two biggest faults the game has is the camera and the save system. The camera will be more of a boss than the actual bosses of the game, but this is a common theme with older games, so I'm used to bad cameras. Not that it's an excuse, but oh well.
The save system is infuriating. You save at checkpoints, and some levels are very long, so if you game over and get sent back to a checkpoint at the beginning of the level, you'll probably be tempted to throw your PS2 out the window.
It's not a perfect game, but I still love it for the charm it has.
