This is a beautiful book. Really! Last Christmas I took my granddaughter, then 13, to a magical garden and showed her how to spot flower fairies. Eventually she saw a blue one. This year, since she is into fashion, I will use this book to teach her (and me) some art sewing using the instructions and beautiful illustrations. During our time together we can make fairy-inspired fiber art. This is a great book for bonding and making memories.

This book is great for providing inspiration to the moderately experienced crafter and for beginners you could follow along using the pattern pieces provided. However, some of the instructions are a little hard to follow if you are new to a technique and would benefit from additional pictures showing the steps taken.
