Dante Cellini, owner of Cellini Shipping, avoided long-term relationships. Becoming a shipping magnate was far more important; at least, it was until he saw Sophia working in a friend’s café. Should he pursue the niece of his business partner and long-time friend? And can he open his heart enough for a lifetime with her?

Sophia Petrelli came to Florence to run from her past and seek out the uncle she never knew. When enigmatic Dante visits her uncle’s café, her world turns upside down. Dante makes her feel safe and protected, but falling for him during their week together was never part of the plan. Will he want to stay when he learns the truth about her past?

***Please note: This is a romance novella with sexual content not suitable for younger audiences.***

It was a typical Knightly style, but I enjoyed it - and I thoroughly enjoyed Dante, such a gentleman.

A lovely romance. It was love at first sight for Dante, and you can really tell how much he treasures Sophia. She has been through a lot, and I liked her perseverance.

This was a very short but sweet romance. Sophia is a woman who has been hurt badly by men in her life with the exception of her uncle Tomasso. Dante is a businessman who is like a son to Tomasso. Their relationship blossoms over dates while they get to know each other.

Some issues:
1. Dante and Sophia fall in love too quickly. I know they are Italian and maybe love at first sight exists but this was pushing it.
2. With the exception of one date, the "dates" they go on are business dinners. Dante is busy negotiating deals while Sophia eats.
3. I think the conflict in the story could have been better.

It was a sweet story though and I am going to try the second in the series.

Great Read 10 plus stars.

I wish I could give this book and series, at least a 10 star review. You have to love this Italian men, they are truly gentleman, but they are also Alpha male when the ones they love. Dante is the start of this series, he is so yummy. Get your copy today. P.S. I read all these books in 48 hours, does this tell you how good this series is?
