Read some of the reviews so was concerned: scratched, entered, and bingo am good for another year of gaming magic at $8 less than the "newer version". This is a gift card that comes in the mail. You get it, You get a coin out of your pocket, scratch off the grey stuff. You log in to or make a Playstation account then enter the collection of letters/numbers under the grey stuff you scratched off in the Account --> "redeem codes" area.
- Was there "white tape" on my card?
Yes. As mentioned by other reviewers, it was the typical white tape with type set on it one sees at any store that has the bar code and information used by a store to categorize inventory. Mine covered no important information. Ignore it.
- Is it digital or physical card?
Physical card with a code on it - think like a gift certificate and pretty much you got the idea. Give yourself a couple days BEFORE your expiration date of your PSN account for free no rush shipping so you're not left hanging as you wait (also to save your $$ on shipping costs).
My suggestion: go this route, save some $$. Between DLC, games, upgrading hardware, consoles, Life (and the list goes on) saving your hard-earned pennies and spending wisely is important so my suggestion (jn case it's helpful) is save a few dollars, go with this rather than the newer version available for $59.99
Speak kindly of me, be good to others, gentle with yourself and most of all, GAME ON!
As an aside the Xbox [spent years resisting paying TWICE, one for an internet provider & another for the same thing via MS.]
But now Sony is limited, we will see how all this rides out on the next released console. Sony historically has done better on quality, MS has been pretty much hit or miss on console quality.
you cant use the android app to add the code to your account though. no fault of the product or seller just a sony thing. so you have to go into your account online or on the playstation to add the card.
i tried it from the app and it said it wasn't a valid code... just a heads up to anyone who buys this and tried to add it to your ps account.
Ill order my next one from here when i need to!
The only reason it's not five stars is because there just aren't a lot of options for new games, but as time goes on there will be and so this membership is definitely worth having!
