    Survived Hurricane Irma
Update: Its that time again, and I was just here looking for a refresher on how to use this radio in advance of hurricane season. I thought I would update my review since its been a while. I fully charged this radio after Hurricane Irma in Sept. 2017.This radio has been in my go bag in my trunk in the dark since Winter 2017/2018. Without the weather alert feature, it has two bars of battery left. The clock is way off, but I don't think I ever set it correctly. I added some labels with reminders of the wx alert and the two closest stations to my home/work (the quick start reference sticker came with it), and a carabiner to easily clip it to my bag. I still really recommend this radio. I am sure there are better radios out there with the weather alert feature, but this one serves its purpose and is not used as a regular radio in between storms. My needs are that its low priced, small, lightweight, and works when needed without power (multiple power sources- crank, solar, batteries). Photos are attached.Original:I ordered and received this weather radio right before Hurricane Irma hit Florida (where I live). It did exactly what I hoped it would do- we were able to track the storm without electricity, and the emergency alerts went off when tornadoes touched down nearby. If fact, we had several tornadoes during that night, and I ended up turning off the alert because it kept waking my 3 year old son, who ended up sleeping through most of the storm, blessedly. The alerts are loud as crap. I stayed up listening for tornado alerts on the radio so we could take cover if needed, but I didn't want to wake him unnecessarily. We had no power starting around 8pm (around the same time as the tornadoes dropped), and this thing kept chugging through the next three days with no power. We did not use it to charge cell phones, so I can't say how that would've worked, but we really didn't need them, the whole state was out. Once the storm passed, I tossed it in my trunk and forgot about it. 5 months later it still works. It has not even been in the sunlight, it was inside a backpack, power on but radio off (and alerts off too). I'm just starting to evaluate our emergency supplies for this season and remembered this little guy. I'm planning to charge it up fully, and keep it in my bedroom with alerts on for the upcoming tornado/hurricane season. Hurricanes call ahead, but tornadoes don't. My cell phone goes off for most tornadoes, but during a hurricane there's widespread power outages and no cell service, so you won't get the alert. I'm so thankful for this little radio and would recommend it to anyone looking for one. It could save your life.
    Thank you for your feedback

El Radio es tal cual lo quería, es genial, no tengo queja alguna.
Solo tengo la duda, donde podre conseguir la batería de refacción, ya que en algún momento dejara de funcionar. Pero bueno de momento todo super bien
