Fits my needs perfectly and works as described.

Fits my needs perfectly and works as described.
There aren't many batteries available that can power the new MacBook which is why I selected this. Added bonus of being able to use this for both my MacBook and my phone means I can give my other spare battery away to a friend. Works as described. Holds enough charge to charge my iPhone several times. 2 USB ports and plenty of power means I can charge friends phones also which happens often as my friends seem always to need a charge and never carry batteries and want to use mine. Before I needed to be stingy about allowing others to drain my battery, but this stores enough power that I don't need to worry about sharing.I really like that it's a backup power source for my MacBook. Works fine but be aware that the wall charger for your MacBook is 29W while this battery will send 15W. I also tested this via both using the Anker supplied USB to USB-C cable connecting to the battery via USB and the cable that came with my MacBook connecting to the battery via USB-C and all the ports for the battery seem to send out 15W. What that appears to mean from my testing is that it will charge your MacBook battery very slowly. Not sure if it depends upon what I was doing as at times it seemed to not charge but just keep my MacBook battery from decreasing while other times seemed to charge slowly. So I would recommend connecting the battery "before" you ran out of power on your MacBook. With the MacBook off I am sure it'd probably charge faster.Nice design, solid build. They make smaller USB-C batteries and also a larger one, but this size I felt balanced power and size / weight better for me. I travel a lot so this will be very useful so I cut the technical information part from the manual and taped to the back of the battery as shown in the picture as the printing that's on the battery end is so small and light that I have no idea what it says and I am sure the airport staff wouldn't be able to read it either. I am sure they will want to check the stats on this battery before allowing you to take it on a plane. I can just show them what I taped on the battery if they ask as it is indeed within the permitted limits.Others have given this good reviews and those complaining were complaining mostly about 2 things. (1) Some have said it doesn't charge the MacBook, but it does. You just need make sure to click the button on the battery "before" you plug it into your MacBook otherwise your MacBook will try to charge the battery instead. So this complain is invalid. (2) The cables that come with it aren't good. They seem ok to me, but I have no need for them anyway as I have my own quality cables I use so I'll throw these away. I did check them though and they seemed to work, but I did no "technical test" on them so I have no real ideal of their quality other than they "look" ok. I can charge the battery with the cable and adaptor for my MacBook and use my other cables to connect devices to the battery so I never use cables that companies send with products as they are typically crap.I'd highly recommend this to anyone especially those with the new MacBook. Please consider the size and weight before buying though as you might want a smaller or larger batter which Anker does make.

The Anker PowerCore+ 20100 is a game-changer when it comes to portable power banks. Designed with high-quality materials and advanced technology, this power bank offers a reliable and efficient charging solution for your devices.

One of the standout features of the Anker PowerCore+ 20100 is its impressive capacity. With a massive 20100mAh capacity, it can charge your smartphone multiple times or provide extended power to your tablet or other USB-powered devices. This makes it an excellent choice for travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone constantly on the move.

The build quality of the PowerCore+ 20100 is exceptional. It features a sleek and durable aluminum shell that not only protects the internal components but also adds a premium look and feel to the device. The compact and lightweight design ensures it can easily slip into your bag or pocket, allowing for convenient portability.

Equipped with Anker's PowerIQ and VoltageBoost technologies, the PowerCore+ 20100 delivers fast and efficient charging to your devices. It intelligently identifies the connected device and optimizes the charging speed accordingly, ensuring your devices charge as quickly as possible without risking damage from overcharging or overheating.

The inclusion of a USB-C input/output port further enhances the versatility of the PowerCore+ 20100. This allows for faster charging of the power bank itself and enables you to charge USB-C devices directly, eliminating the need for additional cables or adapters.

One minor downside of the PowerCore+ 20100 is its longer charging time due to the larger capacity. However, considering the substantial power it provides, this is a trade-off many users are willing to accept.

In conclusion, the Anker PowerCore+ 20100 is an outstanding portable power bank that delivers reliable and efficient charging capabilities. Its impressive capacity, sleek design, and intelligent charging technologies make it an essential companion for those who rely on their devices throughout the day. Whether you're traveling, commuting, or simply need an extra power boost, the PowerCore+ 20100 is a dependable and high-performing choice.

The battery comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, micro USB cable, USB-C to USB-A, and a small bag to carry the battery + accessories. The battery itself is made of a soft matte plastic that looks great. The plastic around the ports can get scratched from plugging in cables, but the scratches are very faint. The cables themselves are high quality Anker cables and are fairly tough. The power button has an LED ring that lights up when you press it, displaying the current battery level. The battery has an auto shutoff when not in use and plugging in a device into either of the two regular USB ports will automatically turn on the battery. When using the USB-C port, make sure to press the power button before plugging in your device, otherwise your device will try to charge the power bank.

The capacity is great and I am able to get multiple full charges on my Nexus 6P. Using the USB-C port, it supports rapid charging at 3 amps. I also use the USB-C port for charging my Nintendo Switch. It is able to charge the Switch while you play, even with more demanding games. This battery DOES NOT support USB-C power delivery, so if you need to charge the Switch as fast as the Switch power adapter, make sure to buy the Anker PowerCore PD instead. Because of the large capacity of this power bank, it does take a while to recharge (but that is to be expected from a large battery). For a much faster recharge, make sure to use a USB-C power adapter.

Overall, this battery is great and I would highly recommend it.

Side-note: The first battery I ordered had a bent USB-C port. It still worked, but you had to hold the cable at just the right angle for it to make a connection. After emailing Anker support, they apologized for the issue and sent me a replacement battery that arrived only three days later. Because of their excellent support, the product is still deserving of five stars.
