Simply amazing light!!!
I recently purchased my Marshydro MarsII 1200W LED light and am absolutely amazed at the results it has given me. My only regret was not having this great source of light from the start. The user friendly functionality is amazing!!! One button down is all it takes to get started after plugging in and setting up. The ease of use and great recommendations made when I purchased my light have made my first growing experience possible. I started my seedling with poor lighting for the first three weeks and noticed the dramatic changes going on within the first two days to a week of placing my plant under this great LED light. my plant has signs of vegetation now as opposed to its rocky start. Thank you for creating such an excellent product. More updates will be provided as time allows. Once again thank you for adding that extra confidence to my plant's growth. The pictures shown are of the progress made in one week under Marshydro MarsII 1200W LED light.

Love this Led. Came on time. Packaged well. Great price. I had been looking to add some additional lighting in my grow space, and this was right up my alley. I have 5 x 4 grow area and this gives off nice vibrant reds and oranges ( including uv) in flower mode. I would say it's fair to say the Vegetative side is great also, but I'm using this solely for flowering. MarsHydro, great products and customer service.

Be wary of this product/company. Reasons NOT to go with this light or deal with a company like this.

1). Customer service will go south very quickly unless you comply. They hate dealing with light problems or returns. You have any questions about a product they will happily talk with you. However, when/if there is a problem , you will either be pushed into a corner, or simply ignored. This company does NOT have your back.

2). You do not save ANY money on electricity. This unit itself (mars 2 1200) draws around 500-600 watts from the wall. This is the same as a HPS. Your electricity bill will not drop a dime.

3). They get hott. Very hott. This was my main pull towards LED's in general, the lower heat. This is not the case. Your room will get hott. Make sure you have your temps dialed in because LED technology will not save you.

4). These lights have been proven to have problems and break down within a year or two. Not to mention increasingly WEAKER output throughout each grow, and the increasing number of burnt bulbs. Revert to #1 where customer service comes in. Yeah.. you get the point. Good luck if you have to send in your light for repair. You will be out of a light source for weeks/months without a backup.

Don't make the rookie mistake that i made with these Mars II lights. Your electricity bill will be the same, heat will be the same. The only thing different will be your yields, which will be far less. Not to mention the quality will be much worse with more air-y/ popcorn type rather than dense and hard. (the light does not have good penetration unless scrogg'd)

Do more homework !! There are MUCH better alternatives out there. Don't be tricked by their marketing sales or tactics. I swear some of these reviews for this company/products seem like fake reviews half the time. Its really hard to trust reviews on LED's these days. We don't know who is being genuine or not. Either people are trying to push their own products or a company's sending them free stuff for good reviews. WHO KNOWS?! all i know is that i don't trust this company OR their products.

This is a review for Mars II 900w.

-It worked well for almost a year and grew good plants. I was happy! Then...
-It started blowing out LED's and "Protection Tubes" constintally, large sections at a time, because of heat and inferior diodes. As well as flickering.
-I remained completely friendly and they sent me tons of replacement parts for free everytime it broke, which was about 6 times in less then a year.
I learned to solder VERY well because of this light..many seperate bulbs to replace and tiny parts to solder. i could not keep up though.
-As soon as i mensioned writting an honest review they cut me off and never sent parts.

2 stars because i liked learning electronics and it did grow plants. Maybe there other models are better...? I'll let you try them first.

This is my second LED and I will try HPS next..done with trying new tech...for now.
I feel the best LED's are DIY cree cob fixtures but never actually tried one, maybe after HPS. I'd rather change one bulb then hundreds.

I bought this light direct from Mars, I have been using it pretty much non stop for a little over a year. I use it for flowering . One of the cooling fans stopped working at about the 4 month mark, and now 2 fans are not working . A few diodes are also not working . I am looking at buying a new light now. I plan to buy a kind LED .

This light served it purpose getting me started. It was cheap, and served me well for a year, but should the light last more than 1 year ?

OkayI bought the 1200w - this light has a lot of power! it is not like other 1200w, not even close. When you see your plants "reaching for this light" KNOW THIS - that is the first sign that they are getting way too much light and trying to change the angle to reduce exposure. You can burn the hell out of your plants with a light this powerful. Very careful monitoring is needed. I have other "1200s" that don't put out nearly the light this does. If you get one you need to have a good PAR meter.
