Assembly is a little tedious, but easy to do. It takes us about 1 1/2 hours at the most. Filling it up takes a few hours.
The pool also comes with a filter, which works great, but we also buy separate chlorine tabs. Be sure to use a floating canister though; otherwise if you throw the tab in by itself it'll bleach the bottom of your pool. It does not come with a ladder, but getting in and out of it isn’t difficult for an average size person. Otherwise you can use a foot stool.
Overall material is sturdy. We’ve had this pool for a year now without any noticeable wear and tear. Only negative is that after using the pool for a couple of weeks it will turn the grass underneath yellow. You could put this pool on asphalt, but it’d be a good idea to use some type of padding underneath to soften the ground. If putting it over grass, would recommend using a tarp over the grass first. This will prevent grass from growing through the bottom of the pool.

There weren't any leaks at all. Several people have said their pools leaked. Neither one of the pools we bought leak. But we were very careful when we set the pool up. We made sure the legs were straight and we did put our pool on a big tarp on the grass. We didn't use any sand or anything to level the ground because the ground was fairly level.
Several people have said that the pump isn't quite big enough for this pool. At this point in time, the one that came with the pool seems to be working just fine and moves the water inside the pool quite well. We also use a floating chlorine canister. The water stays very clear with both the pump and the floating chlorine canister. I would HIGHLY recommend this pool. We love it and are more than satisfied with this purchase!
The cost is the main reason I chose this pool. I am very pleased with the size and quality for this price point. The material and metal frame both seem very durable. The pump is small. On the first day it was pumping very strong. After a day or two, I noticed the water wasn’t pumping into the pool as strong as the first day. I’m not sure how long to keep it running, or if the filter needs to be changed already, but I’m going to look more into this. I’m not too alarmed, though, as the pump is still functional.
It seems like this pool will last much longer than the cheap inflatable pools I’ve always purchased in the past. I’m in South Florida, so it will be used year-round, but I’m hoping to get at least a couple years out of it.
